Release date for Final Fantasy 12 (I hate Romans)

Acording to Worthplaying FF12 will be released in the US on October 31, 2006.

There is a lot of stuff coming out in the last part of this year!

The Collector's Edition seems somewhat, well, collectable too.  Will have to definately reserve that sucker asap!

I'm not interested in the Collector's Edition, but it'll be nice to finally have the game in our hands. I(t's been what, five years since the last true Final Fantasy installment?

I really disliked the battle system in the demo, but it's not going to stop me from picking this up day one. I'll just have to trust all the positive impressions that are coming from Japan and from importers.

I just put down a $10 on my reservation for the collector's edition.  I'm wondering if this is going to be like the MGS3: Subsistence "collector's edition" where there were limited quantities or if they will be plenty of those copies around after release.

VERY nice, although with the other 80 or so RPGs coming out between Septermber and October, I'll just be getting the regular edition.

im in the UK,kingdom hearts2 is to be released i think september here

and i cant play NTSC games so exporting FF12 is out..but i heard we maybe getting it in november,so that isnt that bad(even though it is meant to be the exacct same date for when we get zelda:TP...ahhh)

i understood that part - what i don't understand is how, once the game's been ported to an english-speaking version, there is still that much of a gap, between release here & there (french/spanish subtitles?)...

ahh,i see...yes i know,it is annoying,but ever since we became part of europe,we now have to wait for video games to get all the languages and subtitles translated for other countries....you should see our games and DVDs,as you start them up it gives you a choice which language you would like
everything from french ,spanish,greek,german...bloody polish sometimes..everything...oh and also english.
DVDs are also later usually but not as late as video games.

some video games we get on the same day(or like SW:battlefront 2,earlier)...but its usually the final fantasy games that are the latest

we still dont have final fantasy 11 for ps2,but i think that was mainly due to bad sales of the harddrive
