Does anyone see the IRONY of Rockstar touting a PC/Mac Red Dead Redemption
Screensaver for a platform they don't plan to release a version for?

And it looks like Rockstar removed the post. According to Gamespy (
http://pc.gamespy.com/articles/109/1096617p1.html):
Answering questions on the Red Dead Redemption forum, Rockstar made its intentions clear: "As of now, there are no current plans to bring Red Dead Redemption to the PC platform. If that should change, we will let you know."
I wouldn't necessarily read too much into what a forum moderator (can't tell who the "representative" is) said. Paragon Studios fired a City of Heroes community rep for speaking "out of turn" in response to a question at their forums a while back. I think a moderator at the Champions forums got in trouble for saying an upcoming update would be paid (when Cryptic hadn't decided yet, it ended being free), and also got axed. Wouldn't surprise me if the "Rockstar rep" was someone speaking out of turn too.
I don't think I'd want to work as a community rep/forum moderator these days. People parse your words, and put a lot of weight in it, and if you screw up once - boom, gone.
