yep, it's real (the game, not the picture above being from the game), and judging from the picture on the main site it may include all the movies.  personally I think they should do a new adventure, but a compilation of the movies could have a nice variety-  stealth gameplay for the first and part of the second, and then all out action for the rest of the second and the third.  I bet the 4th will end up as DLC biggrin

news is 'coming soon', and all they've said is 'PC and consoles' for the release platforms.

Maybe they should have bought the Expendables license instead.

the exact same thoughts i had....when Rambo was released(that's Rambo 4 folks)and really enjoyed it

I wonder if this is to be a full retail release or perhaps a XBLA style release

I still remember Rambo 3 in the Arcades

and on my Speccy

I've heard Rambo 5 is on hold while Stallone finishes up with The Expendables 2.  they could theoretically tie in the game release with the movie release; I imagine putting the film together won't take very long  icon_lol

There is a Rambo arcade game that I played at Dave and Busters.  It had all of the story elements but it was such a jumbled mess filled to the brim with Engrish that it was absolutely comical.

Is that crazy talk for 'on rails' ?

it IS just the first 3 movies for some reason

Horrible doesn't come close to describing just how bad it looks.

And why now of all things? Who exactly is looking for a new Rambo title right now? There's no movie or anything to cross promote it with.

more like Far Cry 1 had a kid with Blood Dragon while Rambo was playing on TV.  this looks over the top and while it could be good as a FPS with the elements they've shown, I expect much less.

i don't want to sound all uppity, but those graphics really are appalling.  unless the gameplay is great, i don't see this being a purchase for me

graphics seem fine to me, not AAA obviously, but I'm not seeing how the word appalling can be used.

if this is half as fun as VC, then I'll take the bullet and try this out.  despite some of the eastern euro dev wonk, I really liked VC.

I liked Vietcong quite a bit too, but that came out years ago, so at the time, those were the standard graphics, maybe even quality graphics.  But that in a new game....not so much.

Looks like the old Taito game: Operation Wolf.  Just spoofed up a bit.  But then again, so is every shooter.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that this game will have an even worse metacritic score than the recent Walking Dead FPS. The character graphics looked like they were using a Wii.

Agree. Not the greatest in the world, but not horrible either...
I do think the Rambo character model is bad though.. Just seems off... and, as was mentioned elsewhere in the thread.. why now?

The sad thing is, this has a retail price of $40! I feel sorry for those who will buy it and feel duped. It should be no more than $10. I guess the branding blew their budget.

I'd pay $10 for this. It looks like a silly and fun co-op game. Assuming you can play co-op over the internet anyhow.

To play co-op, you have to dial into a  BBS.
