I downloaded it this morning, but didn't get a chance to play. I will probably give it a whirl this weekend.

I played the demo just now and it was a lot of fun.... a few things I enjoyed were the team tag and ability to make your team use silenced weapons..... That kicks ass! I had fun using it to clear rooms......At the end of the demo it just goes 1 2 3 to kill all the guys..... WAY COOL

Played through the demo. Of course I've been playing a good amount of battlefield 2 with papa. Reload is B in BF2. So of course the first time I wanted to reload I grenaded myself.

Seems to be a common theme

I haven't heard anything, but from what I hear they pretty much butchered GRAW for the PS2 so he may want to rent it first if it does come out for it. No demo impressions yet- I downloaded it and promptly forgot about it.

I enjoyed the demo until it locked up. I was worried my 360 had gone belly up, but it rebooted just fine.
I had gotten down to the basement looking place (I don't think it's an actual basement since you start so high up, but it sure looks like one), and cleared most of it.

The controls are easy enough to understand, if that's what you mean.
It isn't run and gun. Using cover is important. Peek over, shoot bad guys. If you can't see 'em or they're behind cover, toss a grenade.
Advance.
Repeat.
The game takes place in a casino that is still under construction, and it seems they didn't get to put in the lights yet, so it is pretty dark, forcing you to use either thermal or night vision (for the most part, I found thermal more useful).
The game pops up dialog boxes as you go along telling you which buttons correspond to which actions. So you don't really need to worry about memorizing all of the buttons right away.
Edit to add: Controlling your team is easy, and they make effective teammates. Point where you want them to go and press A. Want them to rappel? Point at a rope anchor and click A. Want 'em to storm a door? Point at the door and click A to get them into position. Options for frag & clear or other modes of entry are mapped to the D-pad with the commands visible onscreen. This isn't Lego Star Wars, where your teammates stand there like idiots. These guys do the job they are supposed to do, and they'll save your bacon more often than not. They won't steal all the kills though. There are plenty to go around.
If you stand over the body of an enemy, you can take his weapon for your own use. That was helpful, though I didn't feel a huge difference between weapons. A small difference, sure. But not as big as I remember from R6 on the PC some years ago.
You haven't played R6, but have you played GRAW? I find this gameplay more interesting and more fun then GRAW. I like GRAW (multi..single didn't do it for me). But I really like the R6 style better.

am i the only one that loved graws single player? as in 10X more than multi? oh well...
anyway - i really liked the demo, lots of fun. i like the whole cover and shoot bit, and thought it was super neat that i could blind fire around the corner of stuff to suppress - nice touch. i hope the full stable of rainbow gadgets make up for some the fun i had with the additional units in graw (tanks, helicopters bradleys etc) - because im guessing those sort of things wont be in this game?

Finally tried this myself.
Loved it! Lots!
The covering mechanic is really well implemented and the A.I. of your teammates is actually pretty good, or at least seems to be. They have always been passable in the R6 games*, but they seem to actually be ...dare I say it... smart, in this iteration. You point them to an area, give the 'go' command, and they look for cover in that area and hide behind it. They are also very, very good at covering your blind spots if you take point and have them follow you. A MUST for this type of game imo.
Couldn't be much happier at this point. And it's coming for the 360 and the PC - Excellent!
[*does not inlcude R6:Lockdown, which was a trainwreck]

Circulars are printed several weeks in advance, I believe, and the shift to the right by a week or two seems to be a pretty recent development.

4 people!? I mean, playing it solo in SP had me sold if the game's as good as the demo, but co-op with 3 more peeps, I am -so- in! Sooo...who wants to join me when I get the game? (which'll probably be around december when I have some petty cash to spare...HAH!)

Other than being scared of potential matchmaking issues (I mean, good god Ubisoft totally fucked up GRAW and SC:DA from a online lobby-matchmaking POV)-I am convinced this will have more legs than GRAW. Based on the demo the SP looks to be awesome-rumor is it has full coop-the cover system is great, the teammate AI is vastly better than it was in GRAW (at least in that demo)-the weapons look and act well-and the level design is solid. Combine that with the great cover mechanics and the 3 in 1 attack-defend multiplayer mode that should spice things up past deathmatch, and I am just worried about splitting time between this, GOW, and COD3!!!

The funny part about that is that in GRAW I almost never use grenades. Because they have a bad tendency to bounce off of plant leaves and such.
