So I'm all ready to click the purchase button for Test Drive Unlimited 'cause it looks really cool, when I notice that I can get PGR3 for an even nicer price and I've heard that's the racing game of choice. And I've already got Burnout. And I've got to stop making impulse game buys. But, it would be nice to have by this weekend. So I'm taking a deep breath and asking the hive mind's opinion. Please let me know in the next two hours. Thanks in advance.

For me, PGR3 wore thin pretty quickly, but I'm not a big racing fan. MotoGP had my attention more.

Burnout Revenge is good. I hate the AI though. I'd say go for TDU: the demo was fun and if you're online a lot it's better than playing AI's (IMHO).

The driving physics in TDU suck. If you want details check the TDU impressions thread. Even most people who *like* the game agree that the actual driving itself is bad.

My vote is definitely PGR3. I have tons of hours in that game, both singleplayer and on multi.

I would wonder about who is left playing PGR3 online. I never got into online play in PGR3 like I did in PGR2, not sure why really, it just never captured me.

We had a 7 person session of PGR3 last night, and goodness me was that fun! I even finished within 2 seconds of Gellar in one race, and within 30 seconds on the Nurbergring.

Kaigen spun me in both races.  That's the only reason you were close.

* gellar still won.

Boughten! I got PGR3 used from Gamestop for $25 after my CC was out of stock. I'm getting disc unreadable errors, though, so I will have to exchange it. I hate used games.

The discussion can continue, however.

The best racing game on the 360 BY FAR is MotoGP 3.  It is really no contest whatsoever.

However, one very important thing should be noted about the above comment...

I am probably the only person I know that thinks so.    icon_wink

And PGR3 is a great game no doubt.  Enjoy!
