Are PS2s sent to Canada the same as the ones found in the US?

So for example if I buy a pS2 from a company in Canada, is it the same thing?

To the best of my knowledge, Canada (and Mexico for that matter) gets the same 'tuned' (what games it'll play) console as the US does.

So, yes, your console will play all the US titles and whatnot.

Well, a Canadian PS2 runs at 3 gigahertz, which, one converted to American Gigahertz, is only a measly 500 mhz.
