After getting the ability to get the Ace of Clubs contract it says you can continue to get the contracts for the lesser cards by contacting the major in the HQ.  How do I get back into the HQ to get these contracts/into the HQ if the colonel is the only 'access point' to the HQ?

In other words, i want to close out the deck before going after the ace.

Thanks.

I had the same problem, not sure if it's a bug or not.  I grabbed a helocopter and flew around the map until I found the last 2 cards on my own.  Not exactly the most targeted approach, but I only had the option of speaking with colonel also.

Ditto. If there are other missions available, then go do those. It's really easy to unlock the Ace mission and still need to bag several cards. Just go do the other missions and you'll find them all before you hit the Ace.

After getting the Ace intel it told me to go to the Major to get the other contracts, but all that came up was the Ace.  It looks like they miswrote the script and your contact should not have pointed you to him.  Instead, look on the map and go to the base that has the flag showing up on the map.  AFAIK the Allied commander gives you the ace while the other factions give you the King/Queen/Jack.

If I remember my progression correctly, this was the way it happened for me. I found the King/Queen etc on intel I received after missions for the Chinese/South Koreans.

Basicly, the game is broke down into four acts.  Each suite has it's own missions.  So moving from one to the next removes all the old cards that you may not of captured.

Each of the four factions has three missions.  The first two will give you intel on a number card.  The third is for a face.  The allies will always give you the ace contract, so you have to wait until your intel meter passes the arrow before it opens.

One thing that confused me, but never really gave me trouble:  since they have given you twelve missions a suit, one card is always left out (13 - 12 = 1).  I have no idea how the intel shows up.  It seemed random to me.  Maybe it is given to you after capturing so many other number cards.  I really never saw the patern.

1
3
9

9 as intel rewards from finishing faction missions
3 as final faction missions from chineese, SK, and Mafia
1 as final faction mission from Allied Command

Each faction other than Allied command has 3 missions per act.  Each one gets you a free intel piece on a number card.

Number cards are all on the map from the start so you don't have to get the intel, you can just search the map for em.

Face cards only appear on the final mission for that faction.

The ace card is only available after capturing enough other cards to get half the intel value available for that act.

Face cards are worth 3x the intel value of a number card.
