I try to post news of games for the PSP...its pretty sad to see how its losing software support yearly. Its a great system. I dont understand why its not supported Anyways I hope this will actually make it to the states...sigh. http://www.gamekyo.com/images0_4_29071.htmlIts called Ushiro. If its as well made as JdA was then it should be a hit. Besides a horror RPG is long in coming. Its been a long time that i can remember one anyways. Heres a little snippet in english for ya... Level-5, developers of Jeanne d'arc on PSP, have just announced a new horror-themed RPG called Ushiro. Players will take on the role of a death god (shinigami) to help people fulfill their wishes, and fight monsters along the way. It's scheduled for a release next year.

Level 5 also announced another PSP RPG, this one involving robots. According to RPGFan, Dan board Senki (Chronicle of the Cardboard War) is a robot-themed RPG. The PlayStation Portable title combines the fun of building robots with the fun of controlling them in battle. After assembling small battle robots known as LBX, players will send their creations into battle. The stages for these robot battles are various fields made up of reinforced cardboard. They also revealed two new DS games - a sequel to their soccer RPG Inazuma 11 and what looks like a riddle/puzzle game called Ni no Kuni.

The project between Ghibli and Level-5 is Ninokuni: The Another World, a RPG that will be produced by Level-5 and animated by Ghibli. The game centers around a 13-year old boy who is responsible for the death of his mother. One day, he's confronted by a fairy with a mysterious book that leads into a magical, parallel world. The boy then embarks on a quest to save his mother. This is scheduled for a 2009 release. Studio Ghibli... on DS?! *faints*

According to the RPGFan article, Ni no Kuni will also be coming to a console in addition to the DS version.

Both of those look pretty good. I wonder if they'll add in some co-op elements since that's the big rage in Japan with the PSP these days.

I would also faint - IF it's a horror, action RPG... I'm not so big on the traditional turn-based.

If these don't come to the United States, I'm going to find Daehawk and.... I hold him accountable for putting these games on my radar.

Yeah, that's quite the name, isn't it, lol? I wonder if they really meant "The Another" instead of "Another" or "The Other" - strange. I may have to buy the game, regardless of whether it is traditional turn-based or not - I love the idea of the Spellbook so much. The video clip of it's use was pretty impressive. Funny - you have this little-bitty DS Lite, and a book 10x bigger than it. Now I think of it though, it is smaller and lighter than a laptop, which is almost standard equipment for me, since I get stuck so often in games. This will be fun to watch as the info develops.

The spellbook is very cool, but all of that information better be available in game as well.
