MLB is already out, and for the bargain price of $40 Canadian ($30-$35 US?)  Generally gotten pretty good reviews (IGN and Gamespot both gave it Cool.  I was ready to pull the trigger, but MVP also impressed me this year on Xbox.

Anybody know which one is better?  Also, will EA price MVP competitively with MLB?

After a season of MLB and a game of MVP, I like MLB better.

If anyone still cares, I'll post more...

For you, anything!!

I played a little more with MVP and still like MLB better.

The only real issue I have with MLB at this point is the wild pitches. When guys get on base that pitching meter is way too fast. Other than that, it plays really well.

MVP plays a lot like last years game ('04). Too many home runs and not enough gameplay. The fielding is weak (pitcher has to get to the bag before you can throw him the ball, etc.) pitching is good, presentation is good, barring the stuttering in the replays. It does have auto-replays a player editor and sliders. I tried to use some of the sliders but still didn't help all that much.

MLB just plays better/smoother...

All this and the fact that MLB is $29 this week at CompUSA should lead you in that direction.

I love MLB.

Do you want to play sometime Devil?  I haven't tried to play it online yet, but it would be fun if we could hookup somehow.

Sounds like a plan - How do you even do it?

I haven't done anything online with my PSP yet...

I'm not sure.  I went to multiplayer, then ad hoc ( I thin ktha tis what it's called), then it asked for my WEP ID, which I don't remember.

So, we should first look at configuring the thing right, then we can schedule a time to play!

I will let you know what I find out.
