Worthplaying has the box art for Untold Legends here, showing off the new PS3 box design.  I like the move of the "Playstation 3" to the side rather than across the top or bottom, as with the current-gen and 360 boxes.

I still can't believe they are using the Spiderman 2 font as their official font.

And it's great that now that there has become a pretty understood standard of putting the format on the top of the packaging (even for new PC titles) they have decided to fuck that up and go along the side again.  Way to be original, Sony!

The console costs as much as a decently (capable of playing current games) equiped PC.  icon_biggrin

I never figured out why they used that font. It looks ugly as hell, and it's so obviously the Spiderman 2 font it's not even funny.

The oddest bit to me is that you read it from bottom to top.

Well, it's similar to how they did the PS1, except they quickly changed to the relatively square jewel case design where it made more sense.  Doing it vertically on a vertical package just seems like a goofy idea to me, all the more so because of established standards for the last 6 years or so.

Font is terrible, but I like the design.

Looks like UL is trying to sell itself based on boobage alone.

Man that game looked really bad.  Unless the gameplay is really top notch, I don't think it'll sell well on the PS3.

I was just about to comment on the spiderman font but you guys beat me to it.  I think they should colorize the 3, just to make sure people can quickly discern games for the PS3.

I mean, it's easy to tell the difference between the Xbox 1 and 360 games due to colorization and logo change.

It probably looks like a PC box because "it's a computer!"

The only launch game that interests me on the PS3 is Resistance Fall of Man. I'll probably pick up UL when it hits the bargain bin, just as I did with the PSP version. (Which was decent, especially in online COOP.)
