I was looking at upcoming releases on EBGames, and found something interesting that is supposed to be released next week.  I found some more info about it on IGN.  If this is true it could be very cool, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't already posted here...

What is CeeKay rambling about, you ask? (probably every time you read one of my posts  :slywink:)

I'll believe it when I see it, personally.

If true, Sony should just cancel the PS3 line immediately.

Dude, please! I was just complaining up a storm last week to a friend that the PS2 games look terrible on my HDTV.

Survey says!  NO!

I was unable to get anything on their 'compatable' list to boot.  In fact, it wouldn't boot anything. I'm using a slim PS2, and the manual mentions 'pressing eject' so no telling if this would work on a chubby PS2 or not, but its sure as hell not working on mine. smile    The disc boots and changes resolution, just as they promise, but when I put in a game or movie it just sits at 'loading' forever.  *shrug*

Are they actively updating their software?  Maybe you can burn a new CD.

[edit] I poked around their site, didn't see any downloads.  But I did notice you can purchase a VGA adaptor for this product...

If this ends up working, that'd be great. I'd give anything to be able to play my PS2 on my computer's monitor.
