Playstation Plus - Now with lots more free games!

I got the 3 month PS+,just to see how it was,and then i will decide whether to keep it on after those 3 months are up

I would say its due to SONY giving away* all those games,but one big reason was because of Microsoft to be honest,LOL

It's no secret that i have been waiting and waiting for Microsoft to change their mind on Oddworld:Strangers Wrath HD to appear on the 360 after loving the game on the original Xbox(they kept giving lame excuse after another on why it wont appear),I have ranted/pleaded more than once in the thread for that game


Then along comes SONY's deal with PS+,and one of the Ten games that SONY were letting people have(in Europe)was Oddworld:Strangers Wrath HD,so not only does it not appear on the 360 after waiting and waiting,now SONY are giving it away* with their subscriptions
So,thank you Microsoft,oh and as well

Deus Ex:Human Revolution for EU

Sony has named the latest free title in the rotating Instant Game Collection: Square Enix's Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I had the game on 360 and liked it,so this is great to be able to play it again on the PS3

I just went to downlaod Deus Ex HR,and its 8053mb,i have 15 gig left on my HDD

but it said there was not enough space(i know the MB to GB doesn't match up to what people think it does),so i had to look about online,and apparently you need 8 gig to download it and a further 8gig to install it and then after its installed the 8 gig D/L gets deleted

I have had a PS3 since launch(still use my launch machine),and i have never known this

There's one thing SONY can improve upon on the PS4(actually just do it like the 360 when you download it,its installing as well,so you don't need twice as much space)

UK gets Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Saints Row 2 tomorrow...which is a little disappointing but free is free,and i will certainly be playing SR2 again,i loved that game and liked it more than SR3

I was kinda hoping for Gotham City Imposters though

One person(on the Playstation forums) said Assassins Creed 2,which is a good guess,someone else said a game to do with Gravity,i said The Beatles Rock Band,and then someone else said Haze(which i don't actually see the connection with that one,but only played the demo)

At least you're getting relatively current games.  The free offerings on the US side are International Track & Field and Hot Shots Golf 2 - both PSOne titles.

Those are really just extras, though.  The US free games for July were already released at the beginning of the month.  The European releases are spread out over the month.  Both regions got three games, although Europe certainly had the better selection this month.

Yeah, that is the most annoying thing about PSN vs Xbox Live. I can't stand how you really need double the room to install the game. Everything else though is awesome and I am enjoying the heck out of all the free stuff!

You know, I wonder if their purchase of Gaikai isn't so much about streaming games, but rather access to Gaikai's network infrastructure and servers, all so they can do more varied content distribution like this along with streaming.

Walking Dead episodes 1 & 2 are free to PS+ members starting Aug 7th.  I'm loving this series and for free it's a no brainer, imo.

The rock rolling part was kinda fun (and funny, in a Monty Python sort of way), but I wasn't a fan of the tower defense-ish elements at all.

Nice, I was just about to buy episode 2 on XBox Live, so I guess I will just play it on the PS3 instead, I'll have to replay episode one, but that's no big deal.

Okay people are saying the second picture is Borderlands because its a Scorpio Tank and Scorpio Turret is apparently one of the branches in Brick's Skill Tree..I always played as Roland 

It would make sense i guess with Borderlands 2 on its way
