Where are the PS4 games? Throw us some ports, at least.

It's too early to start handing out new games so soon after the console's release, particularly since it isn't even out in Asia yet (they have to wait two more weeks). Expect the next batch of PS Plus games for the PS4 in January.

Your gonna be waiting allot for PS4 titles. The library to get titles from is minuscule and will be for many months. Besides the PS+ version of Driveclub its going to be PS3 and Vita titles coming out for awhile.

I wonder if when Gakai comes along, if PS3 games will be made available via PS+ for PS4 users. That would help open up the availability of games until the pool of games becomes larger.

The January US PS+ games might have been leaked.  There was a video available on PSN for a short time showing them off.  If this is real, it's quite a lineup - Don't Starve for PS4, Bioshock Infinite, DMC, and Brothers : A Tale of Two Sons for PS3, and Smart As... and Worms : Battle Islands for Vita.

Don't Starve is cool, I guess. Even though it's regularly on sale on Steam for $2-3.

Oh, checked more closely and I see it's only the 90-minute trial. Sorry frown Dang, if that's the case, I wish they wouldn't have announced it like most PS+ releases.

March preview is out

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/02/27/preview-marchs-instant-game-collection/

Quote
Let’s take a look at what you’re going to get in March with your PlayStation Plus membership. To start, PlayStation 4 owners can enjoy the Apocalypse Edition of the critically acclaimed PS3 twin-stick zombie shooter, Dead Nation. The PS4 version includes updated visuals and controls, as well as a sweet interactive broadcast mode, so hit that “Share” button when you start playing!

PS3 owners get Tomb Raider, one of last year’s most praised titles. This reboot showcases Lara’s transformation from a recent anthropology graduate to a battle-hardened adventurer as her expedition crashes on a mysterious island. You’ll hunt animals, upgrade weapons and choose perks to increase Lara’s chances of survival.
Also on PS3: Thomas Was Alone, an adorable puzzle platformer that showcases the camaraderie of artificial intelligences depicted as various shapes, and Lone Survivor: Director’s Cut, a 2D adventure style survival horror game. Bonus! Thomas Was Alone and Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut are Cross-Buy titles, so you’ll get both the PS3 and PS Vita versions of those games.

For PS Vita this month, you get Unit 13: a third-person mission-based shooter where you’ll need to complete specified objectives, like staying in stealth or completing levels as quickly as possible. Then there’s Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite, a massive experience where you can — you guessed it — kill monsters, and then use their body parts to craft new weapons & armor to take down bigger baddies.

damn, that's a solid month.  Dead Nation is fun as all hell, TR is a great reboot if you haven't played it yet and both of the cross-buy indie games are fun and I'll definitely run through them again.  I've got a cart version of Unit 13 and it's a decent game if you haven't played it.  and Monster Hunter is a beast of a game. (no pun intended)

You can see some of it in the trailer but from the blog
Quote
Broadcast+ Mode – This mode allows you to stream your game to the masses interactively, and your viewers can influence the difficulty of your game. Periodically all your viewers, whether they be on PS4 or a web browser, have the option to vote between a positive and negative effect that occurs in your game. There are a total of 30 different voting effects that can occur, ranging from spawning zombie packs to giving the player ammo, or even disabling the player’s ability to sprint. For revenge on those people, voters will appear in the game as named zombies for you to kill.

Daylight looks to be doing something similar.
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/02/20/hands-on-with-daylight-on-ps4-broadcasting-your-horror-2/

I think it's a really interesting idea, that has a lot of potential cool uses.  Seems like a must for any future wrestling game.

That's really clever.  I have trouble seeing how the viewer to player ratio will let many people experience the feature, but I'm admittedly an old grandpa when it comes to today's culture of game streaming.
