From GameCloud:

Quote
In yet another blow for Infinium Labs, the company behind the long-in-development Phantom PC-based gaming device announced today that their President and CEO, Kevin Bachus, resigned last week. There was no stated reason for his departure other than he wished to "pursue other opportunities". Greg Koler, a consultant for Infinium Labs since June 2004, is now the interim CEO, CFO, President and a director for the company. Bachus, who was an exec at Microsoft on the original Xbox team, joined Infinium Labs in December 2003 as its president and COO and was named CEO of the company in August of this year, along with a move of the company's headquarters to Bachus's home base of Seattle.

So...who's still running this 'company' anyway?

Forgot about the Phantom. When it comes out 10 years from now it's hardware will (already is) so outdated who's going to want to buy it? They should just officially pull the plug on it because it's not going anywhere and the company's had nothing but problems.

Probably tough to just shut it down now that they've soaked up so much investment capital.

Soaked up all the capital doing what exactly? biggrin

Personally, I think they should sell that keyboard/mouse tray thingy for PCs and dump the actual console.

I wonder if that guy contemplates suicide every time he considers that he left MS to work for Infinium Labs.  Talk about your bad career moves...

I've been in line at Toys-R-Us for almost a week now.  Should I bolt?

The sad thing is, Infinium already got what it wanted.  Some poor stupid investors got creamed from this.
