finished downloading it yesterday afternoon at 2pm....havent got on once yet...its 6.30am and i still cant get on

a lot of other people are having the same problems...think i will avoid this one.....sega arent that great anyway,i think maybe they shoulda given up gaming when they given up on consoles...with the exception of shenmue 2 of course

What's the point of Live enabled MMOs if you can't talk live?  Or did I miss something?  The world seemed very sterile and empty, which doesn't work for me in this day and age.

I know the game is coming out on systems other than XBox 360, but I am not sure if everyone plays in the same world or not.  So, either there is no live chat because of that or just because it is a quick and dirty port.

From my understanding, the 360 version is in a world seperate from the others. In other words, you'll only play with other 360 players. Which means that if there isn't any sort of live chat (and you're forced to stick with the built in keyboard), this game will bomb and bomb hard in multiplayer. Absolutely terrible design decision not to use the items that all players who own a 360 have.

If the single player is nice, I'll buy it, but this game officially proves that the Phantasy Star franchise has been mutilated and thrown out to die in the backyard.

Between the PS and Sonic demo, I'm beginning to wonder about Sega's future.

Got to lvl 5 but this is a yawn

I synthed a nice weapon (looks like a pink light saber) and some potions. You can solo the first mission over and over to rack up items.
You can use comms to chat with party members
It's very basic for a video game let alone an MMO. Definitely not worth a monthly fee IMO.

In short, a dissapointment

PS2 and PC players will share servers
XBox 360 have their own servers

i finally got on(had to change some settings..DNS i think it was..why i had to, i dont know)


the game is ok..a bit complicated at the moment for me,although its good seeing everyone else wiz about the place and saying hello to them all

I think the game is awful.  Technically, it's not in very good shape.  I saw a ton of warping and lag when I played it, but that's not my main reason for not liking it.  These types of games require a certain time investment and if I'm going to invest time in a MMO, it's not going to be one as drab and simplistic as this.

I'd rather just roll another alt in World of Warcraft.
