Anyone here play either of these games? I'm considering reactivating my account, and would like to adventure with people I know. Thank you.

I have both & just picked up a BB adapter last week. I've never played either game online, but would love to give it a run with some Console Gold people.
I'll be out of town until the 14th & thus away from my consoles, but I'm game for playing online anytime after then.

I would love to try PSO ep3 online. Mainly because there are several cards that you can only get online and through trading. We have a BB adapter, but I think I'd like to pick up Ep 1 & 2 again so I can make that 8.95 a month stretch farther.

can anyone tell me whether PSO3 supports split-screen offline multiplayer, and if it does can it be played co-op or is it head-to-head only?

PSO 3 allows for four people to play. You can play co-op with two people, and three and four people play head to head in a team format.
My favorite way of building up my card deck follows:
You need access to Endu, the Arkz Rampage character. Put him with a deck of all attack cards against a hunter with just equipment cards. Assign both players to opposite teams and put them on controller 1. Then have the hunter just equip items but not attack. Move Endu up and have him use the attack cards to beat upon the hunter. Instant S rank in about five minutes and a ton of new cards.
I have not yet gotten any S or SS rank cards this way, but after a weeks play, I've got over 1000 cards from N4 all the way to R2 (might even be some R1s in there).

Yes, each one has their own cards and will need to create their own collection. It is not possible to play as a player and play one of your decks against another one of your own decks. Your player will not be selectable once you have chosen the deck and team they will be on.

I'd recommend it. It's decently done, and a nice pace from the dungeon crawl that PSO 1&2 is. One note...if you want to play online and use the same hunters liscense for both games (IT doesn't cost anymore) make sure you use your already signed up serial number when it asks you. For example: If you already have access with PSO 1&2, and you just got Ep3, make sure you put your PSO 1&2 serial number in the Ep3 setup. If you put in your EP3 serial in, you will start an all new Hunters liscense account and have to pay 9.00 a month for both games.
If I'm not clear on this, let me know. I'll try to clarify.
