anyway,Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness part 3 has now been announced
TeamxboxThe Penny Arcade series of RPGs made waves with fans when the game shipped in 2008 and 2009. Despite only six months between games the final episode never materialized at PAX 2010 the Penny Arcade fellows confirmed that Episode had been cancelled. This doesn’t seem to be the case anymore as they have announced Penn Arcade on the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 3 for the Xbox Live Arcade.
Rain Slick episode 3 is being developed by Zeboyd games, the developers behind the excellent Breath of Death 7 and Cathulu Saves the World. Reportedly the game will take the form of a traditional 16 bit RPG similar to those that were popularized by the Super Nintendo in the 1990s.
"We originally had the idea of an NES-style RPG last year, but we couldn't find the right people to do it, After we saw Zeboyd's Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World, we knew we didn't have to look around anymore. Zeboyd was a perfect match."
