Nice to see some cartoony, humorous adventure games on there.  A tiny rebirth of a genre that has been sadly missed.

I wonder how many of those games will actually be released?

It's funny how half the games on that list seem to feature "the guys who created Diablo"   Tongue

Heh, no kidding.  My only solace is that I won't be buying all of them that I want because I'm sure my computer won't be able to handle them.  A good number of them will likely be delayed, also.

I'd probably put money down that 50% of those are actually 2008 (Far Cry 2, yeah right).  But cool stuff in the works, no doubt.

This thread title is a little misleading, Penny Arcade didn't assemble the list.

I'm seriously doubting the believability of that list; there were several titles on it that have been pretty much confirmed (either officially or not) to not be releasing until 2008. For instance, Dragon Age is on that list and Bioware has stated it's a 2008 title.

I definitely like these sort of listings... though some games seem to stay on these types of list longer than others (STALKER, I'm looking at you).

Gonna be impossible to top 2006 IMO, that list looks mostly just decent to me.

Scratch Society off the list though, the lead developer quit, and Stardock hasn't been able to fill the position in a year.  Development halted with no project leader, lead developer, and what not.. Its dead jim.
