I dunno. I think it looks pretty good. I'm willing to give Rare a shot to put the graphical polish on this since they're just getting the beta kits. The features that I've been reading about are what's getting me excited for this - multiplayer especially.

Sure the features sound great, but on a next generation system all games should be a bit...better looking.
No, a lot better looking than what I'm seeing there.

Wow, that's horrible. Are they still planning to have this as an Xbox 360 launch title?

Can you guys please explain why these screenshots look first gen, horrible, or not impressive?
I think they look crisp, clear and cool. I hope everyone isn't expecting photorealism in all next gen systems.

I bet Rare designed PD0 for Xbox 1, with a planned release this year. But 360 needed a killer app, so PD0 got bumped up (MS just had to decrease the console turnover cycle, the bastards). Begs the question: how much can you "next gen" graphics that are terribly "this gen" looking with just 6 months left 'til release?

Next Generation: This Generation: The screenshots for PD0 look like a downgrade from this generation. I'm not expecting photorealism, but I am expecting significantly better graphics if Microsoft wants me to buy a new $300 console.

Heh, ouch. That's brutal.
After seeing Riddick on the XBox, though, I'm expecting quite a bit more from the next generation. And in all fairness, Perfect Dark Zero doesn't really represent the best of the best that can be done with the X360.
As was said above, most likely the case is for this being designed on the XBox, and then bumped to 360.

I remember hearing that in movement the game is very nice, and screenshots don't do it justice (shouldn't that always be the case?).
That said, I think these shots look fine. Not every game is going to look like Gears of War, nore should every game look the same.

i think dandy (was that who said it?) was pretty correct about this being an xbox title then moved to 360. i can remember not too long ago oxm talking about perfect dark 0 being released on xbox. ill just keep playing halo until something shiny - er comes along
and one last thing - if they want it to look really amazing, why dont they just cover everyone if fur? i mean really didnt conker look super sweet?

PD0 has never been of much interest to me anyway. The graphics look good to me, but after seeing Gears of War in action, that is what I am looking forward to.

It may have started life as an Xbox title, but there have been rumors for the past 18 months that PDZ was bumped up to a 360 launch title. That's certainly more than enough time to redo the graphics.
I'm hoping that the game will be good, but what they've released so far is very lackluster, especially considering how long this title's been in development.

Yeah, not that impressive. But I wonder what engine it uses. If it's a descendant from the GoldenEye 007 engine, then graphics be damned, this game is gonna play smooth.
If not... well Rare hasn't been impressing me for a long time.

Any reason for the screens being so low res? Looks half-res at least.

A new FPS? Yawn... This genre is getting so old and boring. Someone needs to think up something to add some spark. Unless of course you like killing endless ammounts of enemies in evironments that all look the same... (Halo 2 :? )

Um, well, it's widescreen? That's nice.
Yeah, they seriously need to get a better art director or art tech lead if they're going to let the next gen tech go to waste. Maybe fire their marketing guy if they release screenshots like this. Perhaps it's just some uninspired level design?
That said, it can look bad but if it plays great and has decent AI, then I'll still buy it.
