This was mentioned in another thread but I thought it was worth a little more visibility.  PC Gamer put together an exhaustive list of all the PC games being released in 2013 (or nearly all of them, at least).

http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/01/01/2013-preview/

Surprising to see how many games are already known to be coming out.

That's a lot of games.  I started making a list of my most anticipated but gave up around page 5.   icon_eek

I just looked at the first 2 pages. It's cool to see lots of interesting indie titles. I think the future of PC gaming rest on this type of enterprising spirit.

I looked deeper into the article. There's some positively exciting indie stuff in there! 'Apotheon'. 'Contrast'. 'Lovers In A Dangerous Space Time'. 'Clark'. A remake of 'Oddworld'. A new RPG-version of 'Shadowrun'. 'Gunpoint'. 'Distance'. 2013 is gonna be the year of the indie PC game. Very cool!

If you're interested in Distance, you should definitely check out Nitronic Rush.  It is a great game, especially considering it is a student project.  And you can download it for free!  I could easily see it being sold on Steam as an indie game, so I'm super excited to see what they can do in Distance.

My only nitpick is they should call this "The Most Eagerly Anticipated PC Games of 2013" or "The Most Promising PC Games of 2013." Calling it "The Best" seems putting the cart before the horse.  icon_smile And, it'll be interesting to re-visit their list in a year and see how many of the games actually got released.

Is there a similar list for console exclusives?  In particular, I want to know what JRPGs are coming out in 2013.

Are there any, other than Ni no Kuni?   I haven't heard of much.  frown

I'm looking forward to Omerta myself.
