No need to apologize... I'm retarded. I sent you a message with my mute button ON. (Genius like that only comes around once a century or so). I keep that on by default unless I need to talk to people cause I curse so freakin' much when playing these freakin' games!
You were the only person online that was really early into the game like I was, and though teaming up would be great. Unfortunately, I got frustrated at the comprehensiveness of my lameness and quit.
We'll hook up eventually.

Finally got into a game with some GT folks (thanks for the invite TML) and it was good fun for the short amount of time I could play. Hope to get in more time Tuesday night. Has a set weekly time for any particular game ever been successful for people in the past? Just curious.

FWIW the mic issue is apparently a XBL issue and not just restricted to GoW.

Don't know that we ever have a set time. However, from 7pm-midnight central time is usually the prime time for most folks.

So I finally got this, Used of all things at Gamestop for under $50 bucks total. Used my store credit, played some of the game and I will definately jump on tonight for MP. I don't even have a headset yet, but I want to play regardless. So whomever I end up teaming with, just give me orders and I'll listen, I'll be more like SnakeEyes from GI Joe though and won't ever reply

I don't think I could play God of War without his motivational humming *Hums a merry tune* I either freaked the gang on last night's MP or they had a blast (and a chainsaw too!). I might be up for some more now that I finally beat RAAM on Hardcore. Man he was cake in casual but it really ramped up on Hardcore.
I kept trying to beat him with the Torque Bow and Longshot and I finally switched out the Longshot for the Lancer and he went down after a few tries.
I used all 12 Torque Bow shots, all 4 nades, and 500+ rounds from the Lancer.
It will be interesting to try and beat this on Insane.

I'm sure once people finish the SP campaign there will be more MP. Too bad you can't combine games- imagine throwing GoW in with CoD3 and Viva Pinata!

I have a usual Tuesday night gaming crew that kind of wimped out on me last night. Imagine....having to sleep. Anyway....we were playing 2v2 mostly. It was a different feel to the game than I've gotten used to in this game. More tactical than frantic without the full compliment for a 4v4 game. Either that or my friends and I are learning to play better. I kept looking for more people from the GT list who weren't already playing but I didn't have the full compliment of people from the first post. So...in light of that...I went and added everyone in that post to my friends list who weren't already there. Who knew there were so many people. I wonder what the 1st week sales numbers for this game were. I had seen online a number of 300K pre-orders. - shaggy

Yeah, I had some functions to attend to last night so I didn't get to play. Moriarty played some co-op with papa and then played viva pinata.
Going back to the campaign, I've discovered that I'm way to accustomed to playing against humans. The AI just doesn't react like I expect. Which leads to me getting downed fairly frequently.

I may be on tonight following puppy school, but I promised a friend that I'd try to play some Halo 2 with him. Most likely he'll be asleep by the time I get home (he's on Eastern time), so I shouldn't have any trouble getting into a game around 9:30 Arizona time (11:30 Eastern).

I have yet to try the multi on this game. Maybe tonight, unless my wife wants to watch more movies. We upgraded our home theatre, so even movies we've seen already are holding all new appeal.

Hey all! I'm back from my Thanksgiving trip to Pittsburgh and am ready to get back into multiplayer Gears of War. And while I was gone a local friend recently joined Xbox Live and since I am the only person on his Friends list he is depending on me to get him into the multiplayer circuit. So, being that I haven't played a single video game in over a week, I'm a little anxious to get back into the mix. I'm hoping to meet up with some of you online this week to satiate my Gears of War craving.
