You go to xbox.com, and sign in on the top right.  Then you go to your friends list, and you're good to go.

The whole "matchmaking is broken" thing sucks.  You can't join ranked games with friends.  How absolutely retarded is that?  Talk about a letdown!

It's a way to prevent a bunch of friends starting a ranked game and letting people intentionally get points to raise their ranking.  Still, suckes you can't play on the same side.

I just called my local EB.  They're sending someone to the airport and it should be in around 4pm.  I can pick it up on my way from work tonight.

Didn't blame epic.  Plus why can you do it on Halo 2 then?  Is it a Microsoft thing or a Xbox 360 thing?  I guess 360.

I think alot of the cheating problems they had with Halo 2 are the reason for the current situation on the 360.  Hopefully they will allow clans or something similar so you can team up with friends for ranked matches in the future.

Yeah, a clan-type system would be the perfect workaround to this.  Good idea.

Heh, there is that, although I really haven't had time for that either.  Wednesday I got the game, played an hour or two, then had some errands to run and a hockey game to go to.  Yesterday was dinner with parents and then my wife wanted to watch some tv so no 360 for me heh.  Tonight is another hockey game (GO PENS), but saturday and sunday should be free for me to play.

Lockdown, sorry for not getting back to ya quick enough.  I was in the middle of trying to desperately get to a checkpoint when your message came in and by the time I got there and got to your messgae you were off line.  Plus, as you stated, there was no message.   I figured you wanted to coop so I started a coop game hoping you would see that, however that works, and would join in. 

At any rate, let me know a time and date that works for you and I will sign in at that time and join.  I am trying to play the SP at hardcore and I don't think I can complete it alone.  It is extremely difficult.

Maybe it is just me but getting the hang of everything being on the A button is rather a challenge.  Seems I leap when I want to cover and vice versa.

I will be able to play coop, multi, whatever Friday and Saturday nights.  The rest of the week is pretty much impossible.  Just too much going on in the evenings most nights.
