By throne, he means toilet. Dual flush, single unit.

I went with the Roland KD-8 Electronic kick pad and Pearl P120P power shifter pedal.

I should that the above also requires a kickbox to transform the signal from the kick pad into something that Rock Band recognizes.

The 6 tracks hitting Rock Band next week will be the remaining temporary exclusives from the Country Track Pack, finally available for download. We got a lot of questions about these songs when we released the last Country DLC pack, so we know there's lots of folks that will be excited for these songs. And for those of you looking for something else, rest assured that we'll have more songs to announce next week to add to the 1,000+ song library of material available in Rock Band!

Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Feb. 2) and PlayStation 3 system (Feb. 4):

Kenny Chesney – “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy”
Montgomery Gentry – “Gone”
Rascal Flatts – “Me and My Gang”
Sara Evans – “Suds in the Bucket”
Trace Adkins – “Swing”
Willie Nelson – “On the Road Again”

(All tracks are original master recordings)

These tracks will be available for purchase as “Going Country Pack 03,” as well as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system, and as individual tracks only on Wii.

I'm out on the country songs.  But it looks like there may be an official announcement on Rock band Network next week.

Looking over the recent additions to the RBN playtest, notable additions are a couple of tracks by the Shins, one by of Montreal, and one by the Hold Steady.  Hooray!

---

edit:  Oh snap - and Flight of the Conchords with Demon Woman!

Jazz on RBN.

They charted the saxophone to the vocal track.

That song made the rounds of my department when it came in.  The drums are pretty nuts.

Nice.

I wonder if the difficulty will be on par with Peace Sells.  So far PS is definitely the hardest DLC album difficulty wise on guitar and drums.

WHAT?! OMG.

I'll have to see though. I like megadeth, but god damn I can't play them on drums. That's ridiculously fast. I could only beat like 3 songs from their last download.

Unfortunately, I'm guessing it's fromn the recent re-mixed version of the album?  Instead of the original release version.

The new re-mixed Megadeth albums suck, Mustaine really screwed them up.

I'm a big fan of remastering, but not remixing.

Im still pissed at Harmonix for not releasing the full Who's Next album as promised.  It was one of the main reasons I purchased Rock Band in the first place.  Im thinking a class action lawsuit is in order.

Totally - they should be required to work with law enforcement to track down the malefactors who stole the masters for the album.  I mean, how hard could it be to find them?  Perhaps they can bring in some tape-sniffing dogs.

Yeah, I really love the Rust in Peace album, but I know I won't be able to play many, if any, songs on guitar or drums on Expert.  I'd have to settle for bass, I guess.  I had bought Peace Sells and it sits there laughing at me.

Yep - played through it on expert guitar.  Not terribly difficult, and sounds exactly like you'd expect - it's the same medley broadcast during the super bowl. If you're looking for good value in the minutes/$ ratio, it's roughly 12 minutes of music for 2 bucks, so a big winner in that regard.  I think full band would be pretty entertaining, particularly with people trying to wail Daltry's lyrics, but I'm not going to play it over and over again.

I bought Peace Sells after I finished the world tour mode so there was no danger of hitting any of them in a random setlist.   icon_biggrin If I am in the zone I can get through them on guitar and some of them on drums.  But usually I flame out.  I've never made it through Good Morning Black Friday on drums.  That song is just ridiculous.

I just watched the charts for Rust in Peace on RBDLC.com and I think it looks easier on drums than Peace Sells.  Guitar looks about the the same.  I think I listened to Rust in Peace about 654,000 times my senior year in high school and it has a ton of sentimental value for me. So I will be getting it.

Yeah, the singing for Take No Prisoners and Five Magics sounds like the original recordings rather than the remasters.  Maybe they found the master tapes, or Dave was just bullshitting so he could rerecord his vox and rearrange some parts.

Okay great, thanks for the info rick!

Yeah Five Magics for sure was one of the songs where Mustaine re-recorded the entire vocals... sounded obviously different.  And yeah you might be on to something as for Mustaine BSing about the reasons for the new remixes.
