We have a "demo" PC in the shop that we mess around with for gaming and such. We had Quake 4 loaded and it ran great. We loaded Oblivion yesterday, played, then went back to Quake 4. It ran horribly. Eventually we traced it back to something causing the settings in Quake 4 to change. We are assuming it was Oblivion because that was the only thing different.
It is running on:
PIV 3.6
2GB
7900GTX 512MB
Windows Media Center.

Anyone already have Q4 installed and can see if this happened?
We are going to try to recreate it by wiping the system when we get a chance.

Just tried it and I just installed Oblivion yesterday and nothing since.  Q4 is still running as smooth as ever.

The system I'm using  is pretty fast too.

AMD DualCore 4400
2G ram
7800GTX
