Has anyone played this survival horror game? I just got it in mail but apparently they messed up at play.com and sent me the Playstation 2 version.
Strangely I happen to have a ps2 I borrowed from a friend for a while (actually the friend insisted me to take it, I don't usually play with consoles) and I'm tempted to just open it and play it instead of returning it. Does anyone know how good a console port this is and does the pc version add something to the game?

Not on PS2 but I got the pc version and have started it. Seems pretty cool. Feels like Alone in the Dark with some improvements to the game mechanics. You can for example switch between multiple character who all have special abilities. The monsters remind me of some Lovecraft's creations.
I can't say anything about the story or length but I have heard that it is quite short. I think the 18 euros it cost me is about right.
I think there is a demo on the game's website, might want to try that first.

I tried the PC demo. The graphics were serviceable, but nothing to write home about. Controles were, meh... like most other survival horrors. It did nothing to make me want to go out and buy it.

Tried the demo. I'm sorry, but when a game won't let me open a door with the explanation 'You cannot open this. It is closed.' the POS warning sirens go off big time.
