I`m out of the loop. Prolly cuz I`ve been spending all my time on the 360. Anywho, where and when can I get this expansion, and what is to be included? I couldn`t find much on it at gamespot.com. Thanks.

Make way for mass pimpage!!

If anyone is interested, we put up a pretty long interview on our forums.  All the questions were submitted by forum users.

A little about the game and setting:
Quote
The main quest has the player advancing in the faction of the Court of Madness. You can even attain the rank of Duke of Mania or Dementia. On the Xbox this will unlock new achievements as well.

Many things will be different here. Even going to jail. Criminals are thrown into the bottom of a dungeon. All of their equipment is confiscated. If you can make it out of the dungeon alive, without your stuff, you are free. All your crimes are forgiven. All of your confiscated goods are in a chest right next to the exit, so you do eventually get them back.

New Sheoth has a graveyard. Each citizen that dies gets a tombstone in the graveyard with a fun epitaph.
Most of the creatures have some special ability or interesting weakness. For example, the Grummites heal in the rain. The Gnarl gets larger and tougher if you hit it with fire, frost or shock spells. The Scalon can turn invisible while stalking you.

Heretics and Zealots are similar to the Conjurers and Necromancers of Oblivion. However, if you wear their robes and hoods, they assume you are one of them and do not attack. Be careful though. If you get too close, they realize you are an imposter and attack.

Release date and price:
Quote
Release date is March 27th, everywhere, PC and Xbox Live. The price is $30, or 2400 Microsoft points.

Also, recent screenshots if you haven't seen them.

Disclaimer- I work for Bethesda, though I didn't work on Shivering Isles at all.

2400 points is shite

okay, the price is fine for an expansion...but here in the UK we can only buy cards with 2100 point value, there are no others..so we would have to buy 2, 2100 point cards to get this,if like me i cant use the online to get points

I think Obilivion might be on the 360 Platinum list, so you should be able to pick up cheap

Damnit, you're going to make me go buy Oblivion again, aren't you?  I got all 1000 points on it and played it for 90 hours.  But oh no, that's not good enough for you.  Now I need to go buy it again and get Knights of the Nine and the expansion. *grumble*

Another likely re-purchase here. I stopped playing when my 360 started failing, I had all but the "save the world" achievement and had all my key skills maxed on near max as I recall.

I thought he meant the PS3 version of Oblivion.  That is probably what the magazine was referring to as slipped.

PS3 Version comes out March 20th.  Shivering Isles comes out on PC and 360 on the 27th.  Trailers for BOTH are being uploaded as we speak.  Why?  Because I like to torture Tim and his lack of time.

I could very well be wrong about it.  For some reason I was thinking it had slipped again, though.  Maybe I was just thinking of the first time it slipped.  Or maybe I was confusing it with some other game.  icon_biggrin
