Pulled from NextGame.it

Translated and condensed - if this is true, you get:
The Game DVD (Duh!)
The Game Manual
2 CDs with the official soundtrack & artwork
A Ring
A sketchbook
A NWN 2 Poster
Never Winter Nights including all extensions (Diamond Edition)
10 day trial for D&D Online

Got two pictures of the box art for ya.  They look localized as I believe that would be "Lawful Good"

I am excited for the release of this game for sure, but I want to see pictures of the people that actually wear the NWN2 ring.

God help us all.

Scene:  Dinner with Ringwearer, girlfriend, and their two friends:

GF:  Nice seeing you two again, congratulations on the promotion, John.
John:  Thanks.  It took awhile, but I'm finally being recognized.
John's GF:  So, what's new in your two's lives?  We haven't seen you for awhile.
Dork:  I got this new ring!  Check it out.  It's the Neverwinter Nights Symbol. {holds out hand for everyone to see}
John:  ...
GF:  Excuse me please, I need to go to the ladies room....  to kill myself!

Still trying to desperately drum up support for a failed MMO, that's all.

And looking good on the covers and details. Makes me definitely want to run out there and pick up the game when it launches.

Cool to see a collectors edition that actually has some extra stuff in it.

You see a cheap, gimicky ring... I see a great money-saver for an engagement ring!

Never Winter Nights including all extensions (Diamond Edition)

Is this just Diamond Edition or will it have ALL of the extensions.  They've released at least two since Diamond Edition came out.  I'm still bitter that I "only" have Platinum.  I would jump on a complete, but Diamond still lacks some things.  At least they have been ordered to stop production of official extensions so they could release a new complete edition.

Well, it said "All expansions", so that might just include the downloadables.

You know, after you saying that, I realized that as well.

Definitely fake box art then. Or one mother of a goof.

Or, given that I pulled this from an Italian site, it is a localization issue.

It could very well be a localization issue.

I've heard from too many sources about the two versions of NWN 2 CE, so I don't fear *that* part of the post being incorrect.

Maybe it's a rule change for the next rules revision.

According to an interview at NWN2 Warcry -

There will only be one deluxe edition released in the United States, the contents of which will be revealed in the very near future. Europe may have multiple editions but the US will have only one.

Atari's been giving Europe a lot of love and not us.

Cases in point:  Multiple CEs of NWN 2.  Baldur's Gate Compilation and Icewind Dale Compilation.  Fallout Collection.

None of which are here.

I'm really bitter about BG & IWD Compilations. I'm trying to find a place that would send them overseas from UK to USA, but haven't found one yet.

I just want both of the sagas on one DVD each, damn it.

Gameplay has both DVD compilations and ships to the US. I've used them before and their turn around time is usually less than a week from the UK to California.

Those are VERY nice!  Do you think there are any regional differences between these and the old US copies?  Sometimes there are different patches for US and Europe.  While I assume these might include all the necessary patches I am also wondering how they react to some of the mods out there.

I might have to order these.  I could really go for some Baldur's Gate action on my ancient laptop.

Note that the prices on those are ... a bit pricey.  12.99 pounds for the game and 4.xx for the shipping.  Works out to about 18 pounds, or close to $35.
(10 pounds is about $18)

A bit of an update I guess.  Release date October 17th.  Not bad, all things considered.

A new article for those interested.

Something I like about the Chromehounds translation is that it is so odd that I often pretend I am reading a dissertation.  They try so hard to make it sound good but it just comes off sounding like your condescending friend that just got his hands on the "Word A Day" calender.

The HOUND definition loading screen is my favorite.
