It's starting "momentarily"...Nintendo is fashionably late as usual for E3.

Metroid Prime 2 right off the bat...it's coming in November and it looks like Samus has a dark half.

StarFox: Armada (or at least that's what it used to be) was up next.  Both flying and 3rd person land-based shooter...missed the title because I was writing here.

Are they mentioning 2004 or 2005 for these titles or are they not mentioning them at all?

Nintendo is pointing out that they are not shooting for the hardcore gamer but for all gamers out there.  They're currently ripping on Sony and Microsoft and how they aren't those companies.

They're using a lot of rap music for their introductions...I guess they are going for the masses.

No mention on the last two, but Resident Evil 4 is supposed to be out before Christmas.  I definitely saw November for MP2 though.

Rap music = young urban niche gamer. Not quite sure what their thinking is there.... Maybe they are just trying to play "cool american music" and failing?

Nintendo is doing the stats game, showing that their console sales were better on a year-by-year basis than the other two (i.e. Nintendo sold more in the same period in 2003 than they did in 2002).  And showing that the percentages are higher with Nintendo than the other two companies are seeing on year-by-year basis.

Nintendo is pushing the "We are making fun games and the others can't really say that" line.  They are currently talking about the new Pokemon games coming over to the US that will utilize the wireless add-on for the GBA.

They're also pushing that there will be 25 million GBAs out in the U.S. before the PSP even comes out

Nintendo DS is now being shown, but you've already seen it via USA Today.

Yes, it looks the same as USA Today.  It is coming out this year (at least target date) in both Japan and the States.  They did show Metroid Prime 2 being played on it (don't know how).  The lower screen showed the game and the upper screen showed a map of the area as you were running around.

Nintendo truly is entrenched in the Apple thought process.  They just talked about the new system.  Iwata said he could say the tech specs, but it really doesn't matter because it's all about the games.

I just don't understand Nintendo.

If games are so important why aren't there more Cube games?

And I still cannot understand a single thing an extra screen helps with.

That is correct.

He was riding a horse and battling in 3rd person.  No cel-shading at all.

For the GBA? As said "New Zelda on GBA Minsk Mask or something like that."

It would have to have a new engine wouldn't it since there hasn't been a specific Zelda game for the GBA has there?  4 swords is just the one for the SNES re-done, right?

New GAMECUBE game.  Shigeru Miyamoto came out with sword and shield in hand just like Link ended the promo with.  He talked for a few seconds and then left.

Fingers crossed you are talking about a GBA game.

I loved the cell shading for Wind Waker and if they toss that cool direction for the next Cube game I will be pissed.

There is a new Zelda game for GBA coming as well...that Mimsk Mask or whatever.  The video froze as they were showing it in action, so I didn't catch the name.

The game I am talking about is a GAMECUBE game with the older Link in it.  No cel-shading and more like Ocarina of Time in how link moves.  They showed a short promo of it at the very end.  Just made my spine shiver.  Anything Zelda makes me go crazy.

I don't think it sucks.  I loved Wind Waker, but this is like every Nintendo gamer's wet dream (except for you it seems) since the older Link was shown at SpaceWorld and everyone thought the next one would show a Link like that.
