That's a shame to think that, considering that Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Baiten Kaitos are out for the cube right now.

I knew that would happen.

I love the cube. But we can all agree that it is behind the xbox and ps2 for sales/interest.

I have friends at Nintendo, and nintendo is less then excited about the cube's performance... and 3rd party dropped like flies this year.

Their Handhelds are doing gangbusters... but IF they ever get beat in the handheld market.. it wont be good.

PERSONALLY i want Zelda for the PS3... they should abandon console hardware..

Any kid with a GBA SP is whining non-stop to their parents for a DS, so you know those parents are going to buy them one.

You can't convince a kid that there aren't enough compelling titles out there to justify buying a DS. All that kid knows is that the DS is better than their SP and they have to have one.

It was the same when the SP came out. All those kids with GBA's had to have an SP. All my daughters friends have SP's. She's the only one with a GBA.

Don't think I'm a rotten Dad: my daughters GBA has an Afterburner, so why buy an SP? Case closed.

i have a hard time considering the DS this year's 'Tickle Me Elmo' when i can still walk into stores all over indianapolis and pick one up without any trouble.  they may be hard to find in some markets, but i think they're still easily available in many other areas...

Paper Mario is doing pretty well.  Baten Kaitos?  Not so much.
