Anyone ever try them? I'm thinking of putting one on my new DS (the touch pad screen) when I get it this weekend. Do they work? I'm concerned about the protective screen dimming or blurring the game (my biggest concern). Are they easy to remove and do they clean up well (the adhesive that is)? Which ones do you recommend? The only ones I've seen are by Pelican and they literally stick to the screen.
Thanks!

I'm interested as hell...as you see those ones that are used in Gamestop, EB, etc. and they look scratched to absolute hell.
I've learned that anything made by Pelican is a piece of crap.

No, and I have 0 scratches. From what I have heard the only game that really abuses the touch screen is Feel the Magic. Did you and Christian both sell your PSPs? I've got mine up for auction on ebay, I think I will use the cash to prepurchase an Xbox 360.

the joke is really on him. I think after the showing of all the games at E3 for the DS, it is a quality purchase. Animal Crossing is going to be awesome!

Good question on the what are you playing now. Lately I've been playing Super Mario 64 and the Minnish Cap (yeah I know it isnt a DS game). The fact is, I was still playing the DS for than the PSP.

No way man! I called you a moron when I saw that you had bought a DS. But not because you bought a DS . . . because I kinda sorta want one now too. It's because you had ZERO MONEY AND YOU BOUGHT A DS. You can't even afford one game for it you're so broke! I even had to use my money to buy you a donut at Krispy Kreme. That's why the moron comment was used.
I want to play Advance Wars for the DS. That will be a fun one.

Right now I am playing the Metroid:Hunters demo. And I'm playing the "change the color of the background of the DS" game. Whadda know, I can actually DO that - I don't have to wait for a month to change or change the date! Chalk one up for the DS! I'm gonna get a DS game verrrrrrrry soon. I've got a plan. Maybe. Depends on Warehouse Music's policy on scratched up cds  Oh, and thank you for the donut, Christian. It was heavenly.

Are you going to post a FAQ soon on your strategies and techniques for changing the background color? Changing the background Ver. 0.1a I find that using the stylus enables you to "touch" the bottom screen, which is much faster than using the diagonal pad. NOTE: Do not touch the top screen.

I have a Hori protector for my PSP..not sure if this is an indicator of their quality overall, but mine is very nice and inexpensive. Most importantly, it is crystal clear, unlike the others I tried (such as Pelican).
Again, this may or may not be relevant, but my only complaint about it is that it doesn't seem to fit the screen just right...it overlaps a bit and air bubbles form around the outside of the screen area. This doesn't affect gameplay, but has to shorten the life of the screen/allow crud underneath over time.

Do all these screen protectors stick to the screen with some type of glue/adhesive, or are any of them applied with static? Like the temproary holiday decorations you can put up on a sliding glass door?

Like the temproary holiday decorations you can put up on a sliding glass door? To my knowledge, all screen protectors are the glue/adhesive type. However, they also all state that they don't leave any glue stuff behind when you decide to remove them. And I for one believe them when they say that, as I've used something for my Palm Pilot that states that, and it is true.
