Sigh... IGN and Gamespot agree it's out in the US (white only) on June 11th, but they don't agree on price. IGN says $130, Gamespot says $150. Anyone know who's right? Heaven forbid Nintendo put info up on their own website....
Edit: Gamespot was wrong. It's $129.

Any reason to wait for another color to come along? Depending upon which color DS you have it will unlock a secret character in an yet unnamed text based game coming to the DS sometime in 2008. While details are sparse at this juncture Shigeru Miyamoto was touted to reveal at his recent 45th birthday party "Dogu Shiitu Princess Peach!" (his words), which indicates a possible Donky Kong character may be unlocked. Otherwise no difference between the colors other than personal preference. |

i'm still pissed that they are to bring another version out ,as it doesnt feel that long since i bought the original DS on day one....we should be able to trade...no money involved!!

With the temptation growing to buy a DS, should I go ahead and get the original, especially since it's cheaper, or wait for the Lite?
Can the people who imported the Lite and played the original comment on the advantages/disadvantages of the two?

I disagree, more options are always better than less options. Besides, most places will probably have some sort of trade-in promotion where you get extra value for trading in your DS towards a Lite. |
