Was reading up on NHL 2K6 over at Team XBOX and was wondering if the folks here at CG were going to be getting a review copy any time soon to give us the real preview that I desire.

THe teams sure won't look the same as they did last year. The "offseason" changes have been ginormous. Unfortunately my Leafs look to be going nowhere but down.  |

One thing Team XBOX did have was some video (however it was real choppy for me) that showed a line of Lemieux, Crosby, Recchi, Gonchar and Tarnstrom.... And come one... what does every Leaf have in common... Every Autumn they Fall!....it is just natures way...  |

We may get a review copy after the game is out, but I only know of 1 of us that have an Xbox capable of using preview code and I don't think 2K has sent any preview code his way for any game.

There is a "new" video up at Gametrailers that focuses on the role of the Enforcer. I use the term new loosely, as in I haven't seen it before, but I don't think it's really new.
Do we know a release date for sure yet?

As for the game, I'm still not curious in a sports game unless it's got "Blitz" in the title, though I'm really, really, curious about the Midway game from the writers of "Playmakers." IIRC, they are going to be using a similar script, but changing the team and player names since they can't use the "Playmakers" name and license. It does look well done from what we saw at the pre-E3 Midway party. |

Did anyone see the hits that the Enforcer can lay down in that video?
Thoughts on this?
Also, in those videos, something looks slightly different about the camera angle. I like it alot. Then again, perhaps it's exactly the same as last years, and I am just not seeing it.
