color me interested.  I'd love to see them do a tales game outside of a fantasy setting, perhaps with firearms.

Of course, by the time it hits the US in 2037, it will no longer be modern icon_razz

Get JRPG's out of the fantasy realm - check

All they have to do now is get rid of:
Amnesiac Hero (spikey hair included)
Child/Teen cast
Irritating sidekick
The old save world plot
Obvious villains are obvious
and so much more....  slywink

I'll buy it anyways because I'm a RPG whore

Yeah, I'd really look forward to "Tom Clancy's Tales of Call of Battlefield Duty".

Or not.

Here's some concept art for the game.  I get a distinct Lost Odyssey vibe from it.

Namco Bandai has announced that Tales of Xillia 2 is in development.  I'm not sure if this is the game they were referring to as having "a more modern feel", but I think it is.

Nice - I'd imagine it will be a late 2013 release, but that should give me plenty of time to finish Graces.

Even though Tales of Xillia is still a month away, Namco Bandai has already announced that Tales of Xillia 2 will be coming to the US and Europe in 2014 smile
