Just read today in OXM, that Elder Scrolls: Oblivion is "definitely" going to be a 360 launch title. I've already pre-ordered my 360 (to actually answer your question, lol), because of Oblivion, now it's time to pre-order Oblivion.  I hope, anyway... Bethesda being Bethesda.

That doesn't mean I won't also get the PS3 and/ or the Revolution, but they may not be pre-orders. Time will tell on those. Tongue

Already have a preorder in for the 360, heh.  I imagine I'll get them all eventually, just like current gen.

Revolution.

I have a xbox and still have tons of gaming to do on it so not in a hurry to get the next version.

I really want a gamecube for the exclusives but am holding out for the rev since its backwards compatible.

I am buying a 360 and PS3 on day one.

I frankly can't imagine why anyone is getting the Revolution, but I am sure Dimonna will fill me in smile

I'm looking at an Xbox 360 at launch.  Probably a PS3 when some of the killer apps hit (if not at launch).  I am interested in the Revolution simply because I never owned a Cube and would like to check out some of those titles.  The back catalog is not an issue for me for various reasons (cost/current availability).  A DS around November and a PSP when it is around $100.

Most probably all three for me eventually, though probably none at launch (unless I find a killer launch title for any one of them).

I'll probably get a PSP around Christmas.  I'll wait till the first price drop before I buy any of the big three.

My backlog sucks right now.

Probably all three eventually.  I'll watch the launch libraries to see how important an early purchase may be.

The PS3.  I don't know about the Xbox360.  I love me some RPGs, and since the PS2 had many and the Xbox, well, didn't really . . . that makes me lean towards the PS3.  But then again, some of the developments about some of the Final Fantasy team members joining up with Microsoft is interesting.  And if Microsoft can see where the Xbox lacked *cough* RPGs *cough*, and I can see news that there are RPGs in development, then I would consider an Xbox360.  But then again, I do like sports titles, so that would lean towards the 360.  I'll have to look into it further, but I am going for the PS3 as of right now.

Well, I'll just tell it how it will probably end up.  I'll buy the xbox 360, then the PS3 and finally the Revolution.

Will most likely end up with all three...but the 360 comes out the time that I'll be graduating from school, and rather than drop $$$ on a console, I'll use it to MOVE OUT OF MY PARENT'S HOUSE.

I've told myself that I'm going to wait until the Revolution hits and grab that first-off.  But we'll see if that'll actually happen.

For me, its PS3 and Xbox 360 on launch day.  I've felt burned by the N64 and Cube so I have my doubts there...

Revolution for me on day one.  I love the nintendo exclusives and I can't afford (time or money) to support another console.  My PC will cover most everything else.

I already have the 360 pre-ordered.  I could see myself getting the Revolution some day, but just don't feel the love for the PS3.

YES! Forgot about that!

You see there are much better things to spend your money on than women!  Not to mention the fact that I'm saving a boatload of money!  You guys should try it.  It works great!

My spending goes like this:

1.  MY KIDS!
2.  Videogame stuff
3.  Emergency DVDs!
4.  Myself
