News re: Street Fighter 2 on Live?

I'm desperately awaiting this release on Live Arcade; can't wait to start pounding the crud out of you guys!

Anyone see or hear any news lately on a release date?  They were originally touting March, but we're nearing the end of March with no solid date that I know of...

I just posted right before about Astropop. I've read rumors of next wednesday for SF2. I will then issue you an official challenge.


Actually I should hold off on all my challenges. SF Alpha 2 for PS1 was my game with all the custom combos and such. I don't know how good I am at the more standard versions anymore.

Don't worry, I have a feeling we're ALL rusty on good old classic SF2 Championship Edition.    The last one I played any significant amount of was SF3 on the Dreamcast.  I have the PS2 collection but just haven't played it much lately.

I'd love to play any and all of you fellow SF2 fans out there.  Better a bunch of fun fellow GT'ers than a bunch of random asshats!

does anyone know if it will  be single player as well?...........as i do like the game,but i am incredibly crap...so dont want my ass kicked of you lot :lol:

I'm pretty confident it'll have the single player arcade mode, metallicorphan.  So far all the other Live Arcade games have included single-player mode in addition to any multiplayer ones.
