I like the idea in the comments:  move list on the internet snapped with a fighting game.  I also can't wait to watch racing on TV while playing a racing game.  I wonder what p the games run in during Snap use.

You can still do Lift Tests with those giant Collector's Editions!!!  Speaking of which I have an extra Skyrim box sitting in my closet taking space, that thing is freaking huge.

I'm really excited for the Xbone's versatility as an entertainment hub.    I've decided to move it from my monitor to my bedroom TV/entertainment center so that it can better integrate.

It looks like the Xbox One version is the superior console version. From the Polygon review:

The Xbox One release's framerate was far more noticeable. As mentioned in the initial review, Call of Duty: Ghosts suffers from consistent framerate drops on the PS4, especially during multiplayer when action got especially hectic. The Xbox One version suffered no such drops, maintaining a steady 60 frames per second throughout.

That must make Xbox One owners happy.

I don't get why, when they have a system in place today to handle this on 360, they are waiting until the end of next year to announce the details on the XBO version of this.

Could be the library of XB1 games isn't large enough to start the program until then.  Sony getting in with the independent developers probably gives them a good head start.

it could also be that they don't expect to have backward compatibility for 360 digital titles ready until then.

This.

I think MS has something up their sleeves with BC games. Not the game BC, though. That never came to pass. Tongue

If Microsoft produced an affordable way for me to play upscaled or otherwise improved versions of my 360 library on the Xbox One, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.  Some kind of inexpensive upgrade or replacement program, I mean -- if they're just going to start selling "Remastered" versions of last generation games for $30-$40 a pop, I'll just keep waiting for that library to build up.

In other news: XB1 discs will be clipped into the left side of their cases, and every game on the system will have 1,000 Achievement points regardless of whether it's a "regular" retail product or a download-only title.

The announcement of gold games with xbla on xb1 and not saying anything yet about the program is indicative that they have something to give away. On xbla there is very little, and will likely be pretty sparse.

hmmm... I wonder if that means there will be lazy achievements like they had with the King Kong game.
