Man, Life is Strange has continued to captivate me since Episode 1.

There's an air of genuine sincerity to it that I just love, it's got great use of storytelling and visual elements (dat bokeh doe).

I described it on the GT Podcast the other week as "if Zach Braff directed a TellTale game," and I still pretty much stand by that. It can lay on the teen lingo a bit heavy and there's that minigame bit in Episode 2 that's rough, but besides that, Life is Strange is one of the most unique experiences this year.

It's been a common staff argument of Life is Strange vs Tales from the Borderlands, and that will probably come up when we get to Best Episodic Installment for GOTY (category pending), but if they do as well with Episode 5 as they have with the other 4, this is going to be in tough contention with Undertale and The Witcher 3 for my personal GOTY.
