So yet another MOBA inspired game appears.  Third person with more verticalality.  The art is nice.

Yeah, this and that new Gearbox game is like the second wave of MOBA clones.

Or is it now the third wave considering the first wave really only had LoL and DOTA 2 left? DOTA 2 being lumped in with with first wave despite coming out much later, it's very much a clone of the original.

Either way, these might do better than Smite, which seemed the one that was following more closely to the MOBA style just in third person.

I'd consider those late wave 2. From what I hear Dawngate fixes a ton of problems, but doesn't go as far as casual oriented mobas like HOTS. I have no idea where Strife lands in the spectrum.
