How absolutely bloody cute.
Would anybody but small children play it though? Good question.

I love Nintendo's Balls they take the chances, and come out with some home runs (Warioworld)
We had to suffer through the Virtualboy.. but it is worth it.

Their problem is that they don't take enough chances.

I wouldn't say this is exactly taking a chance...there was a whole series of these games for the PC released a few years ago. See: Dogz, Catz, Petz, Babiez and their numerous sequels. This one looks much better, but I would expect that on a modern system.
As for who will buy/play it, I think it has a pretty good mass-appeal for younger gamers, females and pretty much anybody who like pets (and doesn't want to clean up puppy poo!).

What a pointless "game" Maybe I am missing the attraction but it just seemed so dumb. I never understood the whole virtual pet thing though so maybe it is just me.
