Day 1 Studios has a new video up at their website stating that they are 'returning to their roots' and features a big robotic foot.  New Mechassault anyone?  or maybe just a general mech style game?

ok, so it's not Mechassault, but Reign of Thunder.  and it's going to be PC.  kinda stinks, I was hoping for a Chromehounds experience on the 360.


oh well, I guess this can be trucked off to PC-ville.

They don't specifically mention PC-only, but I guess up until now the consoles haven't really been the home for Free To Play games.

The video definitely makes it look very similar to MechAssault.

Also, what's with all the mech games getting announced recently?

I'm going by what one of the devs said in their forum:

Ah, I didn't see that.  I assumed they would have mentioned it in the press release or the video or something, but I suppose they don't want to officially be locked down.
