I can't cite my source, but it is coming.  They have been doing voice recording work for the title for the last few weeks.  No word on a name, but you heard it here first folks. smile

I haven't played LSL since Leisure Suit Larry 3: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals.  Was the last one any good?

Hopefully it won't suck like "Magna Cum Laude" did.

Didn't have like a trivia thing at the beginning to verify your age in order to show nudity or not?  I remember my brother and I trying that over and over to get the right answers...

I was amused by it, but then again I got it cheap and I'm easily amused.

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

I always loved the LSL games.  Even liked the last one, but I bailed on it about halfway in.

I'm hoping it'll be more adventure based and less mini-game centric, but I know I'm a dreamer.

It'd be great on the Wii.

Actually, if I remember right, all of the older LSL games had that type of 'protection' to make sure you're old enough to play.

+1. Not the greatness that was Love for Sail, but it wasn't horrid either.

Looks like your source was outed on...get this....

The Howard Stern Show.

From The Sports Gamer Blog

- It’s not very often that you hear a gaming scoop on the Howard Stern show, but yesterday morning Artie Lange stated that he was going to make some easy money doing a recording session for a video game.  He said he’d be playing a character called Big Al in the newest Leisure Suit Larry game.  Howard seemed to think that the Leisure Suit Larry games were very popular… and perhaps they were…. in the late 80’s and early 90’s.  What really got me was the fact that Artie said he was going to make, in 4 hours,  what a 20 year old would make in a year.  So, what do you figure?  25 grand?  Crazy.

Interesting - it wasn't my source, but it does a nice job of confirming it doesn't it?

Actually, if I remember right, all of the older LSL games had that type of 'protection' to make sure you're old enough to play.

The one I remember would let you play if you couldn't pass the 'quiz', but it would cover all of the females up depending on how many questions you answered right.  Either they would be fully-clothed, bikinis, topless or fully nude.  I'd just restart the game over and over until I got everything right.  There's nothing finer than a pink pixel on a square boob.

Problem was that non-americans couldn't answer most of the questionss (at least my dad couldn't Tongue ) but off course there was ctrl-alt-x or whatever combination it was so you could skip.

I miss the great days of the adventure genre, too bad it's pretty much dead now frown

I also still say we'll see a resurgence on the Wii soon.
