It's not really a collector's edition, though.  It's a thing you can buy.  For $140.  Yipes!

Still, it's cool they made it available.

Ah, I missed that.  When you click on details, it takes you to a page that looks like you have to pay for the game and the Lancer.  Well, $80 is certainly more reasonable.

yeah, buy the bundle, trade in the game day one to get maximum trade in credit and it's only about 100 bucks for the gun then.

I was shocked (shocked, I tell you!) that the Fable LE is going to be $20 more than the regular one... but yup, trumped again, sigh...  That Lancer is pretty damned cool looking though!

And - KD, KD, KD...

you know, I didn't even notice that when I paid for it.  For a moment I thought you were going crazy, but I doublechecked and yep, I forked out 80 bucks for that.

LOL - just remember that using the word "going" implies a process not yet complete!    confused

Product Description
The trademark weapon of the COG military, the Lancer is a fully automatic assault rifle that's perfect for short-to-mid-range combat. It's chainsaw bayonet is a powerful melee weapon that takes out most enemies in a single blow. New uses for the Lancer continue to emerge, with recent reports of "chainsaw duels," which combine the chainsaw attack with traditional sword fighting. It can also be used to cut a path through overgrown areas.

eek eek Doesn't that violate some sort of state bylaws or something?

What are those armor suits from Fallout?  Are they US troops or bad guys?  I googled Cylon and it looks like it's from Battlestar Gallactica.

damn.  this actually looks kind of cool.  shit, between this and the fallout pip boy clock, amazon is really getting good at the collector's edition swag.  so, if you get this and the fallout clock, you can freak out your neighbors until the cops come.  just keep mumbling about the apocalypse when they get there.

i really want them to do this with the aliens game next year.  a full size replica of a pulse rifle?  hells yeah.

Brotherhood of Steel Power Armor. Not good or bad, just Brotherhood of Steel. Cylon is just how a lot of people have been referring to the power armor statues that are going to retail locations to promote Fallout 3.

I would think less of someone if they bought this.

But I'm pretty judgmental.
