Holy Crap!  It's about halfway down the page, under XBW Media.  It's supposedly from the game using the final developer kits.  All I have to say is

Ghost Recon 2 was so screwed up and such a bitter disappointment, I can't imagine letting those fools have another $50 of my hard earned money.

Ghost Recon 2 was THAT bad!

That was the first 360 video I've seen that's blown me away.

That was really, really awesome.

The filename would lead one to believe it is the E3 presentation.  Unless I downloaded the wrong file.  Still, this one looks mighty impressive!

Wow, that footage is truly NEXT GEN!

This game just shot into my "must buy" list for the 360 launch...

It is the E3 presentation, but it's running on the final dev kits with upgraded lighting effects, amongst a number of other things.

One thing you can use to compare the old video of that same trailer to this new one is the new one has stencil shadows being projected by the trees.

All of the upgrades are in the little details, but to my eye they combine to make the whole thing that much more immersive and impressive.

I was really impressed with this at E3.  As cool as the footage you can see here is, its even better on a high-def TV instead of some compressed Internet codec. smile

Here's a comparison picture showing how the graphics have been recently upgraded.

The footage in that clip is from the earlier build of the game. It will look that much better on release. Hopefully, all that bloom will be taken care of, too.

Well, I'm going to get shouted down deluxe, but I just saw the clip - Big Deal.

I really did not think it was that all inspiring.  Definitely better than Xbox graphics, but not that d@mn great.  You people are easily amused.

Oh please. You bash the XBox and now the 360 on nearly every occassion possible-both the hardware and the games. You expressed an extreme dislike of Ghost Recon 2 on XBox with no actual information to backup that assertion, and you expect anyone to take it seriously that you somehow, magically, suprisingly, think that this game looks "nothing special"?

While I sometimes agree with the sentiment of your post-I did not say what I did simply because he disagreed-I did based on posting history and his vehemence for the XBox and especially for the upcoming 360. In principle though, I guess I should know better than to let it get to me at all.

Seriously, I got a big laugh out of that. I loved how they just sort of ho-hum mentioned that a few months later-along with the fact that it was a mix of pre-render and in-game. I mean, I know you are desperate to beat the 360, but at least show us the real deal.

Now if they'll just release the PC version.

Dude, don't even get me started. I would have loved GR2 with PC control. I think GR3 is coming for PC isn't it? I wonder if it will run/look as good as it does in that 360 vid-I mean thats pretty phenomenal.

WE'VE ALL BEEN LIED TO!

The game looks *nothing* like that trailer.  Well, it shares the same viewpoints, but it is way, waaaay less impressive.

I got my info from here:

http://www.ga-forum.com/showthread.php?t=66226&page=1&pp=50

And here's a video from X05 to prove it:

http://media.xboxmatch.com/videos/x05/GR3_solo_1.avi

I guess it's been pushed back till Feburary 2006.  Hopefully to make it look like the trailer.  Fucking Ubi bastards.

Dammit, other than Oblivion, GR3 was my only must have 360 title for the launch.  And I am far less the fanboy of Elder Scrolls than most here (Redguard was IMO the best ES game) so waiting on Oblivion is no skin off my back.  This delay has me seriously reconsidering my preorder.

And that footage- if you told me that was Xbox 1 I would have believed it.  Not anywhere close to the visuals of the previous footage we've seen.

...and after last year's abysmal showing of GR2 with very little maneuverability, that game is off my list permanently.  I wasted $50 on that smoking piece-a-crap.

Yup.  More on that:

Quote
http://www.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3144362

"The biggest question for anyone who's followed Ghost Recon: Advance Warfighter since its unveiling on Xbox 360 is: Does the actual game look anywhere near as good as the mindblowing trailer Ubisoft showed just before E3 this year? Well, disappointingly, no -- the next-gen dream is over, my friends. At least for the time being. The real version of Warfighter we played on the X05 show floor tonight was much more in line what you might expect from a nice, crisp, high-res version of a proper Ghost Recon sequel. But definitely nothing quite like the shock and awe we received when the first target video trailer made its somewhat misleading debut. But fret not, because while the actual game isn't quite as gritty or beautiful, Warfighter is still a very sweet shooter, especially for fans of these not-so-friendly ghosts."

Ok first of all that sucks. Second of all, where did you read it was delayed? I was still under the impression it was confirmed for launch?

Third, that sucks if true. I am down to two or three games I want at launch. Grrr.

Off my list completely now. I was shitting a stream of rainbow flavored skittles out of my ass during the first video. I thought we'd have a neat hud, squad combat, and some seriously bad ass battles with tanks and shit.

What I saw there looked cheap and boring.

No Sale.

Well, it is a pretty good looking game, but not next gen by any stretch. At least not nearly enough for me to spend $4-500 on a new console.  This is definitely off my list of games to get day one.  Maybe when $19.99 unless they can do alot by Feb.  I am sorely disappointed in all the deception with the trailers and whatnot from previous shows.  The only other game I was considering day one was Call of Duty 2, but after the demo, I can play it just fine on my current pc, so, I am definitely getting that one for it.  Gotta love the mouse for shooting.

Gears of War, is still looking to be the game to beat in my opinion, in the looks department.  Unfortunately, it does not come out til next year either.  Not sure I am getting a 360 up front now.  May wait til after the first of the year.  By then should be no problem to grab one at any Walmart in town and plus can see by then what games have made the biggest splash.  In the mean time they keep making games every month for the current systems that I can enjoy.

Yep, hype deflated.  Good, gives me more time to save nickels and dimes and be more comfortable buying a new system next year when money is not so tight with Christmas just around the corner.

Cancelling preorder tomorrow.

Well because like Sony (and lets not kid ourselves, I love Sony but there shit was way worse than what MS did), MS likely signs off on everything showing at these things, and I am guessing they know whats actually representative of gameplay footage and whats not. Either way, its a goddamn shame, because I really want this game to turn out well. I really want next gen to be next gen.

I mean, give me a real reason to buy this damn thing in November frown Right now I am down to Perfect Dark Zero (which might not make it), Kameo (which I really am not even sure I want since I don't actually understand what kind of game it really is-I need to see it in motion), maybe Tiger Woods (if they fixed some of the terrible flaws from the regular versions) and maybe Madden (except all early impressions are pretty underwhelming). I'll be damned if my enthusiasm isn't collapsing.
