Awesome shots--I love the style.
I just shudder to think what kind of system specs it's going to take to run this on full detail.

Agreed, I am already on the mid to low end of current gen requirements, so I may sadly be left in the dust on this one, unless we miraculously get a 360 version.

No problem. Gave me an excuse to showcase the attachment options.

Y'all don't think the game looks a little devoid of color?

In that particular area, yea. There are some other great shots that show off some better color use.

I'm not overly fond of the screens I've seen yet. They all look great technically, and in a 'realistic' kind of way, but I'm left a bit cold. I'd love to see more of the color shots at some point.
Command and Conquer, at least to me, was always a very visual game, and so far the game looks kind of drab to me.

If I remember what I read a while back right... this is based on the BFME2 engine. Which in turn is based on the C&C: Generals engine (!!!). And that engine is pretty scalable.

The screenshots look really good, but I've been fooled by EA screenshots before. BFME and BFME2 both looked great in screenshots and even with max detail looked quite unimpressive in motion IMO.

Seeing it in motion impressed Mitch, my wife, and I quite a bit. It is one of the only games that had my jaw literally hanging open.

"In that particular area, yea. There are some other great shots that show off some better color use." Yes, they not only use brown - they also use orange in some shots!
