Ok, so I'm playing the Xbox One version when all of a sudden WHOOOOOSH the camera spins around 360 degrees and I crash into walls, cars, etc.  It does it almost every race and it seems to be at the worst possible times.  As a racer I usually end up busted, and as a cop I usually lose my suspect.  Seems that others have had the same problem:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gvQ8nzDq6Q

Are any of you seeing this?   Between NFSR and Battlefield 4, I couldn't play a damned thing today that wasn't aggravating.   Both of those are EA products too.  Rushed to hit the launch date?  Seems so.

In the comments section of the video you linked, the author writes that its a Kinect-related bug that also afflicted the 360 version of Most Wanted.  I'd be curious to know if the camera spin still happens if you play with the Kinect unplugged.

not seen anything like that, but I did see a few instances of 90-degree turns into the wall while attempting to drift the corners.  I think that's more due to my crappy starting cars and feel for the driving than the game's fault though.

tough break on the games crashing for you.  hopefully they'll patch things up soon.

I haven't seen anything like that camera issue, and I'd be looking into any potential controller or Kinect related things if it was happening to me.

But...but...the Kinect is REQUIRED.  Major Nelson said so.  slywink

Maybe I'll fish that stupid thing out of the back and see what happens....

I did find an interesting issue with NBA 2k14 where if the kinect can't see me when I fire the game up, the controller buttons do nothing until I stand up and let it know that yes, I am in fact the person holding the controller.  Then it works fine.  Was rebooting, unplugging, doing all sorts of things until I read someone's solution.  Didn't think it would work, but it did, every time.

or just cover it with a pair of your underwear.  that should block the camera.

just make sure to use a clean pair.  don't need no skidmarks on the Kinect lens....

Does anyone know how to use the Need for Speed Network on the PS4 version if you don't have an iPhone? As it stands if you go to the network option it makes you scan a bar code with your phone, then it sends you to a web page that says the Android version isn't working yet. So in effect you can't use custom profile pics or the Need for Speed Network unless you have an iPhone. Anyone know of a way around this?

Oh and that girl above my post is super hot, who is that?

I'm guessing that is Darla Taylor, from an Almost Human episode.

Did nobody on the development team play test this game? The network is fine until the host quits, then it pauses and migrates you over to a new host. I had that happen 5 times within 15 minutes earlier today. I can't actually seem to race anyone, as there are a grand total of six of us in the world and navigating to another person is an exercise in frustration. The quick menu is freaking terrible. Why did they not map the Headquarters/Hideout and repairs to the up/down on the dpad? Or even a swipe on the touchpad (I'm on PS4).

Seriously, who were the geniuses that made the decisions here? The thing is that despite all of that there is a solid game here, just not one you can actually play WITH anyone else. Unless you count watching them zip by in the opposite direction.

Back to Gamefly with you. I hope The Crew is better when released.

Yeah, this game is an example of a lot of bad design decisions getting in the way of what could be a decent game.
