He's not kidding. We wrote a huge letter with plans for characters, stages, fatalities and everything to the creator - and got a reponse saying they don't use other people's ideas. A couple years later, THIS game comes out and it even borrows our ideas for FATALITIES. NOPE, NO JOKE.

I thought that Pit Fighter was the contender for worst fighting game ever, but I can tell that this game isn't it. What it is exactly I have no idea though. Wait...now that I look at it, it looks like a horrible fighting game out of the '64-bit' Jaguar console. What was it called... Way of the Warrior, or something like that?

Perhaps you were lucky enough to play this one on my favorite console. War Gods? Ye Gods. And as far as your image - Dragon Force on the Saturn. Excellent game and a pain in the ass to beat. Back to the classics. For fun, name the game AND the console it was on.

I remember playing a game like that in the arcades, it had better graphics though. Also, you sat and had some kind of handlebar-like controller... I'm not even sure what system the game above is for though and I cant remember the name of the arcade version!

Well, let me give you two a hint - as far as I know, this arcade game was ported to exactly to one console. And that console was a portable system.

Man, I loved that game! I completely sucked at it, but I think all those quarters spent paid off years later when I picked up F-Zero GX (which plays suprisingly identical - if only I had the dual pistol grip controllers...)
I think it was called Stun Runner, and the only handheld I remember it appearing on was the Atari Lynx (which makes sense, since they published the arcade version).

Ok, assuming I'm right here's an easy one (I took it last night) I think that is Call of Duty: United Offensive. Haven't tried it yet and it's been awhile since the original, but I recall the little "man" icon on the left. Since you took it last night I am assuming I am correct. Of course it could be one of the MoH games.

Well, you're right, Dimmona, it was Stun Runner on the Lynx. I heard that it might've come out on some recent combo release, but I'm not sure about that offhand. As for your non-console shot ( ), it's from either Call of Duty or the expansion of the game. Nice explosion though. Edit - DOH! stiffler beat me by less than a minute. Your post.

I went to make sure it was CoD (hopefully the expansion, as I said) and it does have the "man" I recalled. So I am up! I hope this one is tougher than my last.

Well, just typing "white lion nes" into google gave me a link to that exact screenshot with the first hit The Legend of Ghost Lion. Never heard of it before, but the screenshots make it look like a Zelda-ish adventure. Here's a shot of my favorite 4 player console game (we still play it all the time when the guys come over):

No, that looks like the very fun Beach Spikers. Which I believe was only for Gamecube. This screenshot is very representative of action in the game, I feel:

It's main claim to fame was that it was a near-clone of Dragon Warrior, with nearly identical graphics. That was enough to get me interested in it.

Wait. What? Eddie already went, right? Unless I've really missed what's going on, the next up is you with your screenshot from a game I can't place. Unless you were wrong with your Beach Spikers game (but I think you were right).

Mr. Bones on the Sega Saturn? Indeed it is! The best screen I could find (well, I only looked one place), but I thought it made it rather difficult. Good call!

And the amazing part is that I only remember seeing Mr. Bones on the back of my brother's Saturn box. We never owned it. Anyway, for my next image, I bring your way this classic RPG from when story and plot meant far more than graphics and sound. This game was from a time when there was no FMV, no CGI movies, and no Dolby Digital Surround Sound. It was also (IMHO) Square's (or Square Enix, or Squenix, or whatever they call themselves now) best RPG they've ever made: Freaky final boss, no? *looks around for his soundtrack*

I'd say it looks like a Capcom fighting game, but the only one I've seen the pharoah/mummy dude in was Marvel Vs. Capcom 2.
Would that be it or is it some other game?
