you know, that was made by Legend, who was bought by GT interactive, who was bought by Infogrames.... who became Atari.

What game made you dream of the stars? Star Control 1 & 2 What game made you ride with the outlaws? Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive What game made you fear your past? What game made you go to the underground? What game made you feel like a hero? What game made monsters afraid of you? The Witcher What game made you afraid of dark? Alone in the Dark only 3 left unknown after today, and there's 4 normal release dates left until The Witcher release. I wonder if they'll skip a day or have a non-Atari game instead.

They're down today for some site tweaking (announced last week). Not sure if they'll just hold off on the next game. EDIT: Nevermind. Update has been pushed to next week. D&D:Dragonshard is indeed up.

And now Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, which is a game I really enjoyed, but never finished. Loved the art style, too, then I found out a friend of mine worked on it.

I've always wanted to play Dragonshard, but somehow missed it. I agree though that $10 seems a bit steep for it considering it sold at a sligthly discounted price day 1.

It's hack and slash/button mashy, but there's more of a cohesive story. There's also a character swapping element. It was similar to those Lord of the Ring games that came out around the same time as the movies. I think it was even made by the same people.

I think, at some point, we missed the release of Demon Stone before or at the same time as Dragonsphere.Or maybe not, just looked about the Dragonshard reference.

I just spent about 2 or 3 months playing this, and it has been about the most fun I've had in gaming in years. This game - and the super-incredible fanmade stuff - is just as smooth as an action sim can be. I recommend playing through Freespace 1, it's fan remade expansion, Freespace 2, and the fan-made full campaign Derelict. But I would advise on getting a joystick.

A joystick is a no go unfortunately, so...I really hope its playable without Do you have a 360 and a free USB port on your gaming computer? If you do, just get a wireless reciever and use 1 of your controllers. I've been very impressed at how well the 360 gamepads configure and perform under Windows, and I've used them with games ranging from space simulations to Flight Simulator 2k4.

Not really, you can find one on Amazon for under $30, for example here. I have one and a dedicated controller for my PC, works great.

Just know that if you pair the controller with your pc dongle, you'll have to re-pair it with the console to use it there again and vice versa. Not a big deal, just thought I should mention it.

No Alien Crossfire w Alpha Centauri=no sale here, and for many others, I'd imagine.
Sorry GOG, try Double Jeopardy where the point values are greater.

No. I don't agree. With the resolution fix (adding [directdraw=0] to the .ini) SMAC is amazingly fun to play even without Alien Crossfire. When I played SMAC, I mostly played without AC, even though the additions in the expansion were rather good. IMHO, the game stands remarkably well on its own.
I'm surprised they didn't add the expansion though. I wonder why not?
