Also, Alien Shooter 2 was released this week. For anyone keeping score, that is not Carmageddon. They're also playing the crazy announcement game again with a Police Line message that takes you to this page. There will be updates this weekend. Is it SWAT or Police Quest, maybe? EDIT: In the forums, they're thinking it's Zork or, more specifically, the whole Infocom catalogue! Spoiler for Hiden: That's definitely a Dornbeast on the linked page. Funny that going back to text adventures just came up here recently. Also funny that a text adventure program was just released for my Windows Phone 7. |

Hahaha! Dude, I've been waiting years to play PQ3. I had it on the Amiga but before we had a hard drive, and the floppy version was just unplayable. I loved what I saw of it and it was agonising not to be able to play properly. I've been dying to play it ever since. It will be mine!

PQ3 works splendidly on Win7-64! One tip, otherwise you'll get stuck: the code to your locker was hidden in the manual (as a copy protection measure), so don't forget to look for it. (Unless they changed it off course, I played it when it first came out, and GOD I LOVED IT on my spanking new Soundblaster Pro  ) |

Pinball Gold PackIncludes Pinball Dreams 1 and 2, Pinball Fantasies, Pinball Mania, and Pinball Illusions. Haven't heard of Pinball Mania but the others I played the hell out of on the Amiga. They probably don't hold up well to today's video pinball standards (Zen Pinball) but will have to get this for nostalgic purposes. Balls of Steel, the Duke 3D tie in pinball collection, had some really good tables too - loved the Mutation table. Hopefully they'll get that at some point. It probably holds up a bit better. |

I think I still have the Pinball Gold disc around somewhere - I played a ton of it back in the DOS days. I never could get some of the tables to run. They wanted over 600K of free memory, and that was hard to get once you added the CD-ROM driver. I wish it were $5.99, but I'll pick it up as I still enjoy 2D pinball.
