I was thinking about picking this one up tomorrow, but I think I'll wait for a price drop or a rental.  Certainly looks like it's not worth $50.

Brutal IGN review.

Man, I long for the days when a Square game was always a day one purchase.  Now, more often than not, Square games end up being a "never" purchase for me.  Dissapointment is probably the best word to use for their latest games I've tried (Drakenguard, Front Mission 4, Kingdom Hearts GBA, and now probably Musashi) frown

i was really looking forward to this game - then i played the demo (that was enough for me)...

strangely enough, it shares a major flaw with front mission 4 (the only one of the games you named that i've also played) - that is, it is slow. not just a little slow - noticeably, unreasonably, unecessarily slow...

talk about bad ways to pad out a game...

Squeemix games suck outside of the Final Fantasies.  (Just ignore FFX-2 and FFXI.)

Gone are the days of Vagrant Story/Legend of Mana/Front Mission 3.

I saw this one for $16 and picked it up on a whim on Black Friday.  Is there any reason I should crack it open or is it beyond help?  I think I heard a Kingdom Hearts comparison somewhere and that would be reason enough to give it a whirl...

I saw it at EB this evening for $19.99 new.  I'm tempted...but only because I liked the first game.
