I was browsing through Octopus Overlords for some info on Space Rangers 2 (honest!), and I found a link to a nifty little online browser zombie game. http://www.urbandead.com/I joined up as a firefighter named Doomboy. Currently, I am in a mall, and managed to whack apart a zombie with my trusty fireaxe before I ran out of action points.

I signed on as Cyjon, a NecroTech scientist in Foulkes Village. I also messed around as a zombie, but there's a lot less to do. You can't open doors or use objects so I wandered around until I found someone on the streets and chewed on him until I ran out of AP.

I signed up as well. A cop named Hardcase think I was in front of the school before it went down.

We have a zombie thread going and a humans thread going over at OO.
Working together as zombies in a different neiborhood from where we're working together as humans.

i guess the site has become popular, because it keeps displaying a "site overload" message.

Yes. It became so popular that I am now a zombie because I couldn't run away from the zombie munching on me.
I think I am going to play a "Big Daddy" type zombie and just run around smashing barriers, but not eating people.

Anyone notice places that seem good for finding weapons/ammo? I went to a "blah blah Arms" building, but instead of being an abandoned arms dealer like I hoped, it was a pub! I've used 2 of my 4 pistol clips and only made 4 shots for a paltry 16 exp. I need more ammo, or a shotgun!

I'm Starshifter, a NecroTech scientist in Foulkes Village and I'm currently inside the hospital there. I searched the hospital and found a First Aid kit and a newspaper that mentioned something about cemetery overcrowding. I tried to extract DNA on a dead body outside the hospital, but it turned up nothing. So far I'm having the same thing with site overloaded. Look me up Cyjon - we can watch each others back!

i'm getting fed up with getting to an area, and then getting shut out due to site overload. then when i sign in later on, someone apparently chewed my a$$ up, and now i'm a zombie. I'm just not convinced yet to spend the $5 bucks on this

Look me up Cyjon - we can watch each others back! I've left the area, trying to get to East Boundwood where all the OOers are. I'm currently in East Becktown. It's slow going because I just can't resist using APs to snag DNA as I go rather than just sprinting along. It'll probably be another couple of days until I get there.

Mental note: Basic Hand to hand + Axe sklill = 40% chance to hit = much better odds of hurting something.

Mental note: Basic Hand to hand + Axe sklill = 40% chance to hit = much better odds of hurting something. I am having much greater success with my fireman and his axe than my private and this guns. You have unlimited attacks, even though they do slightly less damage, you get more damage per day as you don't have to spend APs searching for clips and shells. You can then spend a bit of APs on 1st aid kits, and the rest on fighting and maxing your levels. My private is 5 days older and 5 xp behind.

You need to have someone heal you, as of this point I've lost all my humans. Everyone has been converted to full on Zomb. So if you get nibbled on by "Trips, Manboy, Zotchy or Hardcase" thats moi. Oh and watch out I can open doors now Ascendent

we should start a "clan" and name it [Console Gold]. Then i would just name my character "[Consold Gold]Frost", or something. We could move as a team on contact each other for plans of action etc. thru this website.

We can add to our names? If so then I'm all for doing it. Only problem is that we are so split up. My two Zomb's aren't anywhere near each other, my other suggestion would be that we all start new chars in one spot whether they be zomb or human and go from there.

I was damn near done with every skill there was, lol.
Then I plopped into a huge heavily barracaded building and 13 zombies decided to break in and kill me dead.
I was terribly displeased and havent gone back.

I'm still playing with three characters, one of whom's a zombie. I have to admit that I think I like the zombie best. He's got nearly all zombie skills, and it's just fun to fearlessly roam the street, opening doors to buildings hiding unsuspecting level 1's. Breaking down light barricades in order to get at people who thought they were safe is also fun.
