I'm not sure if this belongs in COOP and MULTI forum or not.  I like it here because more people will read it.  And its a more general console gaming focused thread right?

I just saw a post from someone that had to do with Multiplayer possibilities (co-op specifically) and THat got me thinking.  I pretty much do co-op play every weekend and I'm wondering if I missed any gems.  What does everyone like for co-op or multiplay against, or just multiplay in general?

Right now this is what I'm thinking:

Great for new/average players:
Mario party series
Zelda: four swords
Tiger woods 2004 (or 2005)
Winning Eleven 7 (on easy mode -- one star)
Monkey Ball series

Other great multiplays:
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
Gladius (CUBE or PS2)
Samurai Warriors
Dyanasty Warriors Series

And my favorite multiplays of all time (excluding above titles):
River City Ransom (Old NES)
Uniracers (SuperNES)
Power Stone 2 (Dreamcast)

Multiplays I didn't like so much (call me kooky):
-Baldur's Gate series and Norrath (these two because they're so much like diablo but not nearly as good)
-Halo series (I am extremely competitive on PC shooters like Tac Ops, UT and the like.  I feel constrained playing a FPS without a mouse/keyboard)

(will edit and update as I think of more)

What they need to do is make it so you cna have two consoles and two TVs hooked up and dual screen it.  How hard would that be?  Or maybe just connect through the ethernet line for local LAN?  That would be great
for a whole bunch of games.  I really wish they'd do that for Skygunner and the Dynasty/Samurai series.  Hell and if you're patient and have all weekend why not do it for the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series? slywink  I know I'm crazy.  And when are they going to do a Power Stone 3?

Well what about you other multiplay fans?

The Xbox allows you to connect up to 4 consoles together.  It is the only console that allows system link.

This signature is intentional, ie not a mistake.  If you thing Rick Perry should be forced to resign for this crap, you're part of the problem with our country.  Give me a freaking break.

3)  X-Men Legends

I can't wait for Halo 2 smile

What games support that feature?  Does Tiger Woods 2005?
